A history of hospitality

Originally a workshop where palm leaves were woven, in the early 20th century the building was transformed into an inn, offering hospitality to the first tourists to visit the area.
Today Amalfi Residence provides quality guest accommodation in five independent holiday apartments, equipped with a full range of modern amenities, from air conditioning to Wi-Fi.

L’accoglienza, la gentilezza e l’ospitalità dei signori Luigi e Renato sono stati un plus e una coccola…il vero valore aggiunto di questo soggiorno, che già ha una onorata e una struttura ottima. La posizione si è rivelata strategica tra Amalfi e Positano, la camera è spaziosa e silenziosa, con un letto comodo e un piccolo spazio con frigo e bollitore e tutto il necessario per le piccole necessità. Ho inoltre trovato uno dei phon più potenti in assoluto. Pulizia impeccabile insomma, consigliatissimo!

Posto incantevole; struttura molto bella, molto pulita, arredata con gusto e con molta cura ai dettagli, impreziosita dalla ammirevole cordialità e dalle sincere attenzioni del proprietario Luigi. Speriamo di potere ritornare presto e per piu' tempo, anche per stare di piu' in camera ed ammirare dal terrazzo quel meraviglioso mare che sembra unito al cielo.

Siamo stati qui solo per una notte, ma ci siamo innamorati e torneremo sicuramente per un soggiorno più lungo. La vista è fantastica, spettacolare! La stanza è molto spaziosa e pulita. Abbiamo avuto anche la colazione inclusa nel prezzo. Lascio qualche foto per vedere anche voi la vista.

4 day stay at Amalfi Residence. 47 steps up to front door . Lovely Luigi organised a boat trip to Capri and 2 days at the beach/Lido with lifts both ways . He also arranged transfers from Naples airport 120 euros each way. Lovely breakfast brought to the room every morning at pre arranged time. Room cleaned every day. Fridge , sink, kettle in room . Fabulous sea views from terrace with lounger ,chairs and a table . Walking distance from a bar , pizzeria , restaurant and shop selling essentials.
