La Bussola occupies an early 20th century pasta factory, painstakingly restored and masterly converted in unique, 4 star hotel. Brimming with Mediterranean charm, the hotel's spacious, light-filled bedrooms are furnished in classic Amalfi Coast fashion, complete with the area's typical, hand-painted majolica floor tiles. Almost all rooms enjoy breathtaking views of the sea. Those looking for additional luxury, should try to book one of the hotel's much sought-after "Prestige" rooms, with frontal sea view balcony or terrace and Jacuzzi bath.

La Bussola's restaurant is famous for its delicious Neapolitan cuisine, served in the hotel's elegant dining rooms or on the panoramic, sea view, terrace. The hotel's superb food and wine and romantic in and outdoor dining venues make it the perfect location for a dream wedding reception or gala dinner. For small scale business functions and conferences, La Bussola has an attractive, 100 seat meeting room.

Located on the seafront of Amalfi, overlooking the harbor, La Bussola lies within easy walking distance of the town's beautiful little beaches and picturesque historic center. The towns of Atrani and Positano are just a short car or boat ride away. Holidaymakers unwilling to stray far from the comfort of their bedroom, might easily be found soaking up the Mediterranean sun in La Bussola's fourth floor solarium or on the sea edge sundeck, situated on the rocks directly opposite the hotel. Private parking is available for those guests traveling by car.

The best Hotel Marina front with beautiful view!Very cute ,large and very clean bedroom and bathroom!Amazing service at front desk and restaurant.My friends and I had a blessed time over there!Snd Maria helps us a tons with activities (Great lemon tour and cooking class)and transportation!My rate for this hotel is 1000!!!!

We’ve had a great stay ( three ladies). Great location! Friendly staff of the restaurant for breakfast , cleaning team, reception. Lovely place with a small beach for a reasonable price for hotel guests. Highly recommend.

Misleading room description in website, severe ant infestation, sagging mattress

Hotel is well located, good breakfast - but customer service and upkeep is very poor . -We had booked a comfort room, the website description said ‘balcony with side sea view’. We had no view from the balcony, which led into a terrace facing buildings. After a 10 feet walk, you could see the sea. Manager was rude & did not even acknowledge the fact that the room cannot be described as ‘balcony with side sea view’. No compensation or upgrade was offered for the first evening. - Had another booking of a front sea view room. This one had multiple incidents of severe ant infestation! Even after staff came and sprayed disinfectant, ants came out from behind the bed’s headboard, around the entire frame of the closet and at the desk of the dressing area. - One side of the mattress of the bed was completely sagging. One of us had to sleep on the day bed in the room. Extremely disappointed with our experience. Full payment (non refundable) had been made and we had no option but to suffer the discomfort & stay, but never going back to this hotel .

Pros: Close to boat / bus terminal - very convenient with luggage walk Easy walk into town! Nice view from rooms Good size room and clean Great breakfast ! Hot items and served to you. Service at breakfast was good . Fast service to bring items to room if needed Cons: Wifi is weak Air conditioning in room not strong Front desk ppl: no enthusiasm when you walk in About greeting guests..simple gestures as suggeting places to see or saying hello... Bed : was not comfortable Not clear about the roof top....We thought we could go up and bring our own drinks to see the view Bathroom items such as shampoo and body wash not restocked
