A history of hospitality

Originally a workshop where palm leaves were woven, in the early 20th century the building was transformed into an inn, offering hospitality to the first tourists to visit the area.

The most beautiful view ....the most helpful host

We stayed there 2 days and it was too short. We were 2 couples, the room was awesome . Big living room/kitchenette with a sofa cama, a big room with a queen bed, a nice size bahtroom, a huge side garden-balcony and a balcony with a sea view out of this world. Luiggi, the owner was bringing us the breakfast every day to our room in a tray full of choices. 👏👏👏👏

4 day stay at Amalfi Residence. 47 steps up to front door . Lovely Luigi organised a boat trip to Capri and 2 days at the beach/Lido with lifts both ways . He also arranged transfers from Naples airport 120 euros each way. Lovely breakfast brought to the room every morning at pre arranged time. Room cleaned every day. Fridge , sink, kettle in room . Fabulous sea views from terrace with lounger ,chairs and a table . Walking distance from a bar , pizzeria , restaurant and shop selling essentials.
