A history of hospitality

Originally a workshop where palm leaves were woven, in the early 20th century the building was transformed into an inn, offering hospitality to the first tourists to visit the area.
Today Amalfi Residence provides quality guest accommodation in five independent holiday apartments, equipped with a full range of modern amenities, from air conditioning to Wi-Fi.

The welcome, kindness and hospitality of Mr Luigi and Renato were a plus and a pampering... the true added value of this stay, which already has an honorable and excellent structure. The location proved to be strategic between Amalfi and Positano, the room is spacious and quiet, with a comfortable bed and a small space with fridge and kettle and everything needed for small needs. I also found it to be one of the most powerful hairdryers ever. In short, impeccable cleanliness, highly recommended!

Lovely place; very beautiful structure, very clean, furnished with taste and with great attention to detail, enriched by the admirable friendliness and sincere attention of the owner Luigi. We hope to be able to return soon and for longer, also to stay more in the room and admire from the terrace that wonderful sea that seems united with the sky.

We only stayed here for one night, but we loved it and will definitely be back for a longer stay. The view is fantastic, spectacular! The room is very spacious and clean. We also had breakfast included in the price. I leave some photos for you to see the view too.

4 day stay at Amalfi Residence. 47 steps up to front door . Lovely Luigi organised a boat trip to Capri and 2 days at the beach/Lido with lifts both ways . He also arranged transfers from Naples airport 120 euros each way. Lovely breakfast brought to the room every morning at pre arranged time. Room cleaned every day. Fridge , sink, kettle in room . Fabulous sea views from terrace with lounger ,chairs and a table . Walking distance from a bar , pizzeria , restaurant and shop selling essentials.
