What a nice experience with Francesco for dinner! Simple setting on the ocean with home cooking by Francesco, his wife and mother! The menu changes many times everyday because they cook everything and when there is no more, they cook something else! Pasta is home made! But the best is Francesco! He cares and takes care of you like members of the family! We are going back again in 2 days! Italian warm welcome

Still Number one on the Amalfi coast

We visited this restaurant 7 years ago and had the best experience and returned 7 years later and nothing has changed.
Looks can be deceiving as whilst it looks like a modest beach bar it’s far from it. We spent 2 evenings here this week and had the best time.
Menu - there isn’t one 😂. The owner comes over and site with you and provides a menu created on the day based upon produce available and what’s been caught.
Usually around 10 / 15 options and mainly pasta based and has options covering meat, fish and vegetarian.
As a party of 6 over to visits we tried at least 10 different dishes and every one of them was a winner. Pasta is fresh and home made and I will give a special shout out to the pesto pasta (contained wild basil, burrata cheese) and the spicy squid with spaghetti.
The drinks are also the best. Lemon spritz was the best on Amalfi coast and during the winter months the owner goes into the mountains and brews his own craft beers which are just amazing (I returned from Bruges and the beers matched that level of quality)
The view of the Amalfi coast is spectacular and despite the fact you sit on plastic chairs I am voting this restaurant as the joint number 1 in Maiori and possibly the entire Amalfi coast)
I will return to Maiori and I will return to this great restaurant.
Middle of the road overall

Reviews were mixed, ranging from fab to awful. Honestly thought it was fine, it's not Michelin, it's a little bar restaurant at the top of the beach. Temper your expectations.
All food clearly homemade, but not all made fresh. I reckon some were made earlier, like pasta bakes.
We arrived at 18.30 with an option to eat things ready immediately, or fresh seafood pasta in 25 minutes. We opted to wait, my son had one of the pre-made pasta dishes I had a fresh swordfish spaghetti, pasta was good, swordfish very nicely cooked. The pre-made was a bit heavy. I think the fresh seafood pastas would be the best choice here
Nice desserts
Great selection of home brewed beers, really good, I'd give it a solid 4 just for the beers.
It's good for a beach food cafe, but not 4.7 for a restaurant.

È un piccolo chiosco che offre grandi piatti.
Che siano piatti di mare o di terra vale la pena di farci un giro.. forse anche più di uno 😆✌️
