Chiosco Bar S. Francesco

10/10 recommend! The restaurant looks unassuming, like a typical beach bar but it’s a diamond in disguise! The owner, Francesco, is the nicest man! He sat down with us, went over the menu, offered drink paring suggestions, was the most pleasant man! He checked on us throughout our meal which was nice. The pasta was DELISH! So fresh, flavorful. The local beer they make, refreshing & delicious! The desserts… 20/10! Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. I wish we could have gone more to try more dishes!

Came here based on the numerous good reviews and genuinely couldn’t believe how bad the service and food was! We arrived at approximately 19:15 and was totally ignored by staff there for a good few minutes they were actually walking round us. I was about to leave but we were so hungry that they finally acknowledged us so decided to sit down. They provided us with 1 menu between the two of us and gave us about 1 minute to read before they came back and then asked for our food. When we both ordered the lasagne he said that wasn’t available and there was a different menu today???? Fine we just ordered pasta meatballs for simplicity. It arrived it was very cold. Absolutely atrocious please ignore the reviews!!
