Chiosco Bar S. Francesco

I stumbled upon it while walking along the Maiori waterfront, and honestly, I didn’t expect much; it looks like a simple beach kiosk. Instead, it was one of the best surprises of the trip. I had the seafood pasta and wow, real fresh stuff, you could tell the fish was from that day. Nothing elaborate, but made with genuine ingredients and a lot of care, unlike the usual tourist spots on the coast that rip you off for mediocre dishes. The owner Francesco is quite a character; he tells you where every ingredient comes from and even lets you taste his homemade craft beers, really not bad at all. Informal but attentive service, family atmosphere, you feel at ease right away. Amazing sea view from the table, the right background music, honest prices for the quality. One of the few places I will definitely return to as soon as I set foot in Maiori again.

We loved the Chiosco Bar San Francesco; it is greatly appreciated when, in addition to the beach, there is a pool, although it was a bit dirty, we enjoyed it a lot.
