During the summer, the restaurant's glass ceiling and walls recede, transforming the dining room into a spectacular al fresco space. The view affords guests a breathtaking seascape framing the tiny Li Galli islands, which lend their name to the restaurant. Treat Yourself!

To call Li Galli a restaurant is like calling Wimbledon a tennis court. It is more of a culinary experience than a dinner. Being of Italian heritage I was familiar with all of the ingredients, artichoke, chick peas, fennel, etc., but they were presented in unusual and exciting ways. I couldn’t and wouldn’t want to eat like this every night but as a special vacation treat, it was spectacular. What really set it apart was the service. At the end of the meal the entire staff, including the chef greeted us and wished us good night and we were offered a tour of the hotel. The entire experience was out of this world. Caution, it is a budget buster, but life is short. Treat yourself!

Piacevole ristorante con bellissima vista su Positano. I menù degustazione sono interessanti ma questa sera andiamo alla carta, scegliendo i piatti più invitanti tra cui spiccano l’antipasto di mare, i meravigliosi spaghetti con la pummarola, i cappellacci e un ottimo baccalà. Dolci sfiziosi che si mangiano anche giocando, ottimo vino al bicchiere in un una cantina veramente ampia. Servizio degno della stella che merita ampiamente. Cena deliziosa e splendida passeggiata per ritornare alla base.

Wonderful aperitivi, and Lidia coordinated so that we could have dinner afterward in the osteria The building has beautiful views, and a great atmosphere. All of the staff was very professional and helpful especially Lidia, Lyvia and Fabio, the concierge Will definitely return on our next visit!

Worst Michelin experience

This was one of the worst experiences I had at a restaurant. I have a facia difference and all through the entire meal, the two servers on the rooftop proceeded to out and out make fun of my appearance. Disrespectful, rude, and disgusting. And the individual man who appeared to be in charge did nothing to stop this overt behavior. My regret was that I had money for this. I can’t believe that this place deserves any Michelin star if this is acceptable business practice.
