Satisfyingly simple dishes made with local ingredients in an authentic atmosphere.
Try: Pasta and potatoes with provolone del monaco cheese and stuffed zucchini flowers.

Amazing meals! Went twice whilst staying in Sant’Agata - amazing service, the best tiramisu I’ve ever had! 😋 all the staff were incredible - overall very very happy!

Neighborhood Treasure

Found this restaurant online with free shuttle service from the villa I stayed at. Greeted by Mimmo and met his 80 year old parents prepping and cooking in the kitchen. Was given a tour through the kitchen and wine cellar. I reserved an early time slot so there was time for this as the evening goes on the restaurant fills up with people and gets busy. The food was very good. The fried zucchini was my favorite. I have had the fried zucchini throughout my trip in Italy and this one was a winner. Also had the fried anchovies which I now know how fresh it tastes compared to the United States. I enjoyed the ravioli with clams and the lemon cake was perfectly sized after a satisfying meal. I can tell from the people who were dining here that this place is a neighborhood treasure.

Lovely food but appalling service

Food was lovely, however, service was appalling. Barely acknowledged us, no smile or thank you, borderline rude, and practically had the plate taken from the table before I even put down my cutlery. Will not return during this holiday. It was expensive for the portion size. Basic manners and hospitality go a long way to enhance an experience.

A wonderful experience

After experiencing a cooking lesson here last year while we were staying in Sorrento, we loved it so much that we decided to stay in the village this year. The meal here was beyond our expectations! We decided to start by sharing the Antipasto Lo Stuzzichino- a platter with bruschetta, mini calzones, fried mozzarella and croquettes. We also tried Filomena’s meatballs. Both of these choices were fantastic! For our mains, we both went with pasta dishes- scialatielli with seafood and spinach and ricotta ravioli. Again, these dishes surpassed our expectations leaving us satisfied without being uncomfortably full. To finish, we had a lemon delice and a fruits of the forest cheesecake. Both choices were refreshing and a perfect way to end the meal. The atmosphere at the restaurant is welcoming and friendly and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
