Private Lunch “At the Winemaker’s Home” at Cantina del Vesuvio: taste and tradition among the vineyards of Mount Vesuvius

Sin dal primo momento, Maurizio – una persona eccezionale per passione, accoglienza e autenticità – ti fa sentire non un cliente, ma un ospite speciale, come se fossi a casa di un amico di vecchia data. Tutti i prodotti sono assolutamente naturali, frutto di un lavoro meticoloso e rispettoso della terra. Ogni bottiglia racconta una storia, ogni sorso di vino riflette l’amore e la cura con cui le uve vengono coltivate, raccolte e trasformate. È davvero raro trovare una qualità così alta, accompagnata da tanta sincerità e dedizione. L’area degustazione è semplicemente spettacolare: seduti tra i filari, con il Vesuvio alle spalle e il Golfo di Napoli davanti agli occhi, si assaporano vini straordinari abbinati a pietanze squisite, tipiche e preparate con ingredienti locali. È un’esperienza che coinvolge tutti i sensi, in un equilibrio perfetto tra natura, sapori e bellezza.

Owner/ chef Ester gave us a special tour and allowed us to make a four course lunch in her home at the winery. We were in awe and loved making gnocchi and eggplant Parmesan. The wine and hospitality were great. We bought 5 cookbooks and I would go back in a second to try more food there.

We had a fabulous time here on the last day of our honeymoon! A very special and private tour filled with fine wine & great staff. We shipped bottles of everything we tasted back to the U.S. ! So good, support this locally owned business if you’re in the area!!

We came in 2017 with our entire family of 7. Today, we visited as a couple. So, the new “wine club” is perfetto. Beautiful views from the ocean and Mount Vesuvius. The wine and pairing is exceptional, come hungry, there’s plenty of food. The wine vinegar is exceptional. We bought 2 bottles. Great deals shipping wine back to the USA.
