Lo Scoglio

Let's start with the price. € 145 in two. Starter: tuna tartare and 6 mini (but mini) eggplant meatballs. First courses: a spaghetti with clams and one alla nerano A bottle of water and a glass of wine END!! Really absurd, ultra pumped prices even if we were at port deer, (spaghetti with zucchini € 29) poor service, the glass of wine asked 4 times to 3 different waiters, to arrive only just before the first.

Lured by Stanley Tucci's broadcast on this restaurant, today was the day: lunch at Lo Scoglio. Beautiful location, boat guests are dropped off directly. Delicious food in the sun!

The restaurant hosted a group of 50 of us for dinner. Food and service were great. Generous portions of each course. Traveling there by boat was a fun part of the experience.

I have been visiting Lo Scoglio for years and the location remains wonderful, but unfortunately the cuisine has deteriorated dramatically. The Quality of food is bad: dishes without any flavor, small portions, rough preparations and everything badly cooked. The lemon delight tasted only of alcohol, pasta served in ridiculous amounts, meatballs and octopus chock-full of garlic. A real shame, because with such an extraordinary location you would expect a gastronomic experience to live up to, and instead it was disappointing in every respect.
