Buca di Bacco

This restaurant has improved so much since our last visit, 7 years ago. The food was very reasonable and delicious. The staff was very good and most friendly! We would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Having been to many others in the Positano area, this one is great on the coast.

We had a wonderful dinner of tagliata steak, amber-fish, Daurade fish in a lemon and orange sauce and baclava salted cod preceded by a caprese salad. Our expert waiter Salvatore guided his team to efficiently serve our food and advise us on local dishes. Our meal was accompanied refreshingly by limoncello spritzers. The ambiance was spectacular overlooking the waterfront at sunset. Thank you to our hosts! Of note we also took the cooking class earlier in the week and the chefs help us create an amazing meal.

As with most restaurants we ate at in Positano, the severs were rude but food was excellent. Maybe because it was the end of the season and they were tired of tourists but server was genuinely annoyed when I asked for details on how dish was prepared.

The staff was wonderful. Food was great. I had a fish dish that was excellent. The atmosphere was very elegant. Would recommend.
