Great food ditto the atmosphere recommend it to everyone

After a stormy and rainy morning in Positano, we finished a museum tour and headed to Chez Black. We had heard this restaurant was recommended and it did not disappoint. We were immediately seated with a lovely view of the beach. We kept it simple and only got a pizza with their house red. Loved it!

there are no photos on the menus so we can’t figure out what the food is, which is actually a common problem for all Italian restaurants, Plus, they didn’t care about the waitstaff’s attitude and pretended they weren’t willing to help with their dining choice, but you know. The two Brazilian maids were welcoming.

During our stay in Positano we ate at Chez Black twice once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times the Price quality ratio was good. The pizzas were delicious, the drinks nice and refreshing, and the Mood on the beach completes it. The restaurant is nicely decorated and exudes that typical Positano charm. You do pay €8 table fees, which is on the high side, but that is a bit part of the game in this environment. There is a lot of staff present; they are friendly, although they are sometimes busy talking to each other. All in all a nice experience and highly recommended if you are in Positano and fancy a nice pizza with a sea view!
