It’s supposed to be famous but it was terrible. So westernised and catering to USA I was so disappointed

Lovely beachside spot in positano that can cater for Gluten free. Great family run business with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The food is good, for what we took, but they are not organized at all on the GLUTEN FREE, despite specifying it in bold in the options right here on tripadvisor. You don't ask for the moon, because we imagine that in such a place, the work is so much, but they lack the minimum. Not being able to guarantee a slice of baked fish with potatoes or a portion of fries to a celiac, means not being ready to accommodate celiac customers and therefore we recommend removing it from the options. Regarding the prices, they are certainly above average, on the quality ratio, which still remains good, but 50 € for spaghetti with hedgehogs (pulp in a jar) is so much also positano. The location is very social, but remains touristy. The fact of saying, that prices are high because you are in Positano is something that no longer holds and absolutely provincialist. Today the world is open and digital and distances no longer exist, on the same day, lunches in positano and dinners in Monte Carlo or Florence. This place-related pricing thing is restaurant speculation that's not holding up anymore. Otherwise instead, when you raise the level of what you eat importantly and CHEZ BLACK is a tourist place and nothing else. You have to ask for the receipt because they don't release it, they only give you the one for the ATM payment.

Friendly staff and good food. Pizza was amazing and pasta was good! The tables are very close together making it feel very touristy - to be expected right on the beach and next to the ferry. Still a good place.
