Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel - will be a lifetime experience

The hotel is, sorry to say so, an expensive place, but if you intend to stay in the area for two or three days, just stay at this hotel for one day and experience what this hotel can offer you, If you are well to do, this is where you belong. The premises is wonderful and impressive, and need to add, you will enjoy meeting with people who enjoy working here.

An Easter to remember

The Hotel il Convento is located in a fantastic location on the Amalfi coast, overlooking the beautiful Amalfi, the walk to the pool is very pleasant among the green trees and the blue sea, even the fitness area has a beautiful view. Very impressive is the inner cloister just below the mountain with the church and the permanent nativity scene. All staff are friendly and my thanks go to the Direction that over the Easter period organized in an accurate and engaging way the egg hunt in the beautiful garden among lemon groves and flowers attended by children of all ages accompanied by parents and that made my son happy, everyone found chocolate eggs.

Amazing Amalfi

Simply stunning hotel overlooking the sea. Lemon trees, bougainvillea and lupina pergolas with the most amazing colours. The suite was spacious and beautifully decorated with great attention to details. Breakfast was served a la carte with a menu for freshly cooked items and all overlooking the ocean. The staff was very polite, personable which made the stay perfect. Since the hotel used to be a convent, it still has an intact cloister and a monk which takes you back in history about this amazing place. The fine dining restaurant offered an incredible dinner menu with exciting flavor combinations without being pretentious. You can sense that the staff is incredible proud and involved in every step. The pool view is incredible and the lemon sorbet served was a perfect gift on a hot day. Make sure to ask for their special sourced tomatoes which have the most amazing flavour! Can’t wait to go back!!!

We had some major travel setbacks owing to conditions out of our control. The hotel management was lovely in helping us find our way through. Top class.

From the heights of its cliff-top position, the Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi dominates the whole of the Bay of Amalfi.
The hotel is located just outside the small seaside town of Amalfi, on the spectacular and often hair-raising SS163 coastal road, also known as the "Blue Ribbon" or "Amalfi Drive".
The historic center of Amalfi with its magnificent cathedral lies within minutes of the hotel as do the majority of the Amalfi Coast's most famous towns, such as Atrani, Furore, Praiano, Conca dei Marini, Positano, Ravello, Maiori, Minori and Vietri sul Mare.
