A sophisticated combination of the building's Moorish architecture and elements of ultra modern interior design characterizes the hotel's spacious bedrooms and suites, all of which enjoy marvelous views of the sea surrounding Amalfi.

Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel es un hotel con una ubicación inmejorable y ofrece una experiencia verdaderamente única, en en gran parte gracias a la excepcional calidad del servicio y la amabilidad de todo el equipo. Me gustaría destacar especialmente la cálida y profesional atención de Flora y Marizia en recepción, la amabilidad y eficiencia de Eugenio en La Locanda della Canonica, el arte y simpatía de Doménico, nuestro talentoso pizzaiolo y el cariño de todo el equipo bajo el gran liderazgo y profesionalidad de Estelle Vassallo. Nos llevamos un recuerdo imborrable de nuestra visita y del maravilloso ambiente que han sabido crear en ese enclave tan especial. Ya tenemos ganas de volver!

Amazing hotel with breathtaking views of Amalfi. Very tranquil. Beautiful gardens and very nice swimming pool. Really nice bedrooms with sea view. Very good breakfast on the most beautiful terrace. Delicious food in both restaurants but especially in the fine dining one where we had an excellent dinner. Excellent service and very attentive and helpful staff. Short walk to Amalfi or shuttle car available.

Das Hotel hat sehr viele positive Eigenschaften - die Lage oberhalb von Amalfi, das in 6 Minuten zu Fuß über zwei verschiedene Pfade erreicht werden kann, der herrliche Meerblick, ein sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet, eine sehr freundliche und engagierte Rezeption und ein noch freundlicheres und engagierteres Valet-Parking-Team und einen (kleinen) Open-Air- Gym mit großartigem Ausblick. Auch der Service am Pool hat überzeugt - sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Dazu kommt ein besonderes Flair durch den Klosterhof und die noch aktive Kapelle. Dass wir trotzdem nicht völlig begeistert waren, lag einerseits am Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (z.B. für die Garage, aber auch die Zimmergröße) und andererseits daran, dass wir direkt zuvor im Casa Angelina in Praiano übernachtet hatten, mit dessen Standard das Anantara einfach nicht mithalten konnte. Wir sind hier zugegebenermaßen kritisch auf sehr hohem Niveau.

Beautiful resort overlooking the Amalfi coast. Very serene and relaxing. Only negative was the lack of air-conditioning which made it uncomfortable to sleep at night

From the heights of its cliff-top position, the Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi dominates the whole of the Bay of Amalfi.
The hotel is located just outside the small seaside town of Amalfi, on the spectacular and often hair-raising SS163 coastal road, also known as the "Blue Ribbon" or "Amalfi Drive".
