Simple is beautiful: welcome to Furore!

  1. The gastronomic history of the Amalfi Coast, taught at the tables of Hostaria di Bacco.
  2. The spectacular view of Furore from each and every balcony in each and every room.
  3. A hotel far from the crowds, in the heart of the Amalfi Coast.

With good honest food, homemade wine, and a friendly handshake; this is how the story of Hotel Bacco, an ancient Inn on the road leading from the Amalfi Coast to Agerola, began. Some seventy years later, guests staying at Hotel Bacco experience the very same simple pleasures, which here, in the fishing village of Furore, have become a way of life.

Offering the comfort and character of a typical coastal home, Hotel Bacco provides attractive guest accommodation in just a few, simply furnished bedrooms, each of which has a balcony facing the sparkling blue Mediterranean Sea.

Age-old recipes, fresh seasonal ingredients, and a passion for the gastronomic traditions of the Amalfi Coast: the ingredients which have ensured Hostaria di Bacco's success. Here, each bowl of pasta and platter of fish is a flavor packed celebration of the Mediterranean; each dessert a culinary delight to be savored at leisure; each meal ably accompanied by the wine produced in the hotel's vineyard; and concluded with a glass of ice cold limoncello.

Not only is Hotel Bacco the ideal choice for lovers of good food and wine, this peaceful little coastal retreat is the perfect base from which to explore the rest of the 'Amalfi Coast too. Furore's spectacular fiord, and the beaches of Amalfi and Positano are, in fact, all just a short drive or boat ride away.

Bacco is so beautiful inside and out. Their rooms are extremely cute and cozy. The view from our room was EXQUISITE. I cannot even begin to explain how beautiful the views are from each and every direction of the hotel. The hotel food is literally heaven on a plate with the cutest, not so little man, who takes your order and says "please" every time he gets you your dish. Simona, Maria and another staff member (I don't remember his name) were extremely helpful and made us feel like we were home. We got extremely hungry the night we checked in and the man (whose name I forgot) and all of the staff was so kind to walk all the way to our room (it was 6° and freezing) to give us some snacks and drinks. They have a bus stop right outside the hotel which will take you to Amalfi and back. We will definitely be visiting again next year. Thank you to all the staff for being so welcoming and loving. Simona asked us to come back in '26 with a baby. Lol, here's hoping.

Gorgeous views Heavenly gourmet dining We were treated like VIP guests Looks and feels like a 5 star hotel Very clean and fresh. I’ve never experienced such friendly and happy staff at a hotel. They love helping people. Their grandmother began this hotel 95 years ago and they recently remodeled it. We loved every minute of our stay here.

Wonderful family run hotel with great views from the mountains. The restaurant was so good that we never went anywhere else and simply tried almost everything on their menu! No better place for the best of Italian regional cuisine. The staff just couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming. We loved every minute of our visit.

Very friendly family run hotel. Room had amazing sea view and was fully air conditioned with comfortable beds. Food served on balcony was a wonderful way to experience the region’s gastronomy and we decided to stay in every night and work through the menu rather than eat out. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
