La Bussola occupies an early 20th century pasta factory, painstakingly restored and masterly converted in unique, 4 star hotel. Brimming with Mediterranean charm, the hotel's spacious, light-filled bedrooms are furnished in classic Amalfi Coast fashion, complete with the area's typical, hand-painted majolica floor tiles. Almost all rooms enjoy breathtaking views of the sea. Those looking for additional luxury, should try to book one of the hotel's much sought-after "Prestige" rooms, with frontal sea view balcony or terrace and Jacuzzi bath.

La Bussola's restaurant is famous for its delicious Neapolitan cuisine, served in the hotel's elegant dining rooms or on the panoramic, sea view, terrace. The hotel's superb food and wine and romantic in and outdoor dining venues make it the perfect location for a dream wedding reception or gala dinner. For small scale business functions and conferences, La Bussola has an attractive, 100 seat meeting room.

Located on the seafront of Amalfi, overlooking the harbor, La Bussola lies within easy walking distance of the town's beautiful little beaches and picturesque historic center. The towns of Atrani and Positano are just a short car or boat ride away. Holidaymakers unwilling to stray far from the comfort of their bedroom, might easily be found soaking up the Mediterranean sun in La Bussola's fourth floor solarium or on the sea edge sundeck, situated on the rocks directly opposite the hotel. Private parking is available for those guests traveling by car.

Отвратительный отель!!! Старая выпечка!!! При этом персонал клянется что круассаны свежие, хотя внутри они просто старые, как будто их привезли из кафе напротив, когда они вылежались там неделю и их никто не купил. Про кофе - наливать надо 2-3 раза, чтоб наполнить кружку. Получается очень не удобно и долго. А потом еще и понимаешь, что кофе - ужасный!!! Воняет хлором. Сам еду взять не можешь...тебе ее накладывают по одному кусочку, как во времена Covid. Lounge на крыше не работает, хотя заявлено что работает. Каждый день говорят, что заработает завтра, каждый день врут в лицо. После этого даже неприятно смотреть на респшн и людей-лицемеров, которые там работают. Персонал ответить на вопросы не может.. Как в больнице или в санатории себя чувствуешь. Номера маленькие с видом на крышу. Ужас!!!

Stayed in Hotel la Bussola for 3nights in late April, at 405++euros per night for a superior sea view room. Good: Location is convenient for the town and ferry terminal. Room is good size and full of characters like high ceiling, beautiful ceramic tiles. Staffs at reception and breakfast rooms were helpful and efficient. Bad: Aircon system was not switch on as it was 'too early in the season', room was stuffy at night. Too noisy to leave windows open as room is facing main road. Bathroom is small. Toiletries are of poor qualities, slippers are paper thin. Bed is uncomfortable. Breakfast selection was small. Roof top terrace bar was not opened during our stay even though we were told (before we booked) that it will be opened after Easter. Temp 20C. Pier to access sea for swim was not opened either. To sum up, the hotel is definitely not 4 stars, 3 stars the most. Although it is situated in a good location but at over 400 euros per night, it is not good value.

Best Amalfi Hotel

Stayed at La Bussola for 3 nights. This is a very traditional hotel which we loved right on the water in the town of Amalfi. Location was perfect. Amalfi town is a great location for seeing the amalfi coast and the hotel is a couple of minutes walk from the port for boats to Capri etc. all the staff at La Bussola were so friendly and helpful and the restaurant and bar were both wonderful. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough!

Hotel molto comodo al centro con garage a disposizione per chi arriva in auto.. Personale molto accogliente e gentile, bella camera spaziosa con balcone vista mare e molto pulita, buona la colazione. Siamo stati molto bene e se ritorneremo ad Amalfi ritorneremo in questo accogliente hotel.
