La Bussola occupies an early 20th century pasta factory, painstakingly restored and masterly converted in unique, 4 star hotel. Almost all rooms enjoy breathtaking views of the sea. La Bussola's restaurant is famous for its delicious Neapolitan cuisine, served in the hotel's elegant dining rooms or on the panoramic, sea view, terrace. The hotel's superb food and wine and romantic in and outdoor dining venues make it the perfect location for a dream wedding reception or gala dinner. For small scale business functions and conferences, La Bussola has an attractive, 100 seat meeting room.

Located on the seafront of Amalfi, overlooking the harbor, La Bussola lies within easy walking distance of the town's beautiful little beaches and picturesque historic center. The towns of Atrani and Positano are just a short car or boat ride away. Holidaymakers unwilling to stray far from the comfort of their bedroom, might easily be found soaking up the Mediterranean sun in La Bussola's fourth floor solarium or on the sea edge sundeck, situated on the rocks directly opposite the hotel. Private parking is available for those guests traveling by car.

Pure class. I’m recently took my Mother on her bucket list trip and we stayed here. The staff was very professional and friendly. All the staff, the ladies at the front desk, the bellhop, the waiters in the restaurant and they guys at the bar upstairs. Very impressed. The first whole day we were the my mother fell and broke her foot. The staff immediately made helping my mother with medical attention and making her comfort and enjoyment a priority. They assisted me with locating and directions to a medical provider and then helped my mother get to her room. They even offered to give her a piggy back ride. They went searching thru their storage and found my mother a wheel chair so that I could pusher her around and she wouldn’t spend her dream vacation stuck inside a hotel room. The breakfast and dinner staff delivered all the food directly to her in the room and made sure she had ice for her foot. The guys at the bar upstairs helped me lift her chair so she could spend the evening on the roof top and enjoy a drink and the sunset. The guys at the roof top bar are amazing, very friendly and always welcomed me and took tremendous pride in their work. One of them even went home and brought back a bag of lemons from his home garden for us. The owner has done a great job with her staff and guest satisfaction. I cannot give a higher review on this hotel❤️ and everyone of its staff. I won’t be staying in any other hotel when in Amalfi. Thank you all!!!

Staff were helpful and friendly Lovely view from the balcony in a room with a partial sea view Very handy to have a restaurant and the rooftop bar with sea view Great interior, clean rooms, didn't hear any noise from outside Superb location Nice breakfast Not very strong WiFi, and sometimes mobile data wasn't great in our room but it's okay if you're not using the internet much

Firstly, I'd like to say that the staff was excellent. However, Giuseppe, the manager, was rude, indolent and cruel. He screamed and yelled at me when we notified him about a problem with our room. Quite simply, it had no working A/C. He screamed at me in Italian to open the window and stop complaining. He then threatened to throw me and my wife out on the street, without us getting our luggage. We were on our honeymoon. Giuseppe should not be in a customer service business. Never stay at his property.

We loved our stay at hotel la bussola! the location is amazing, 5 min walk from the bus stop and the ferry terminal as well as from the main plaza with the duomo. it is on the ground level so it was a huge plus that we did not have to traverse flights of stairs to get to the doorway of the hotel. The rooms were a good size for 2 people and the tiles on the floor and in the bathroom were charming. The housekeeping kept our space very clean. Because it is right on the street, if you keep the balcony door open, you hear all of the noise from the road and the sidewalk. however, the door/window does a fantastic job of soundproofing and with every closed, you could not hear any of the noise. The included breakfast was delicious and very filling. Such great baked goods! We also ate at the restaurant in the hotel for dinner most of the nights of our stay as the food was also very delicious, came out pretty quickly. The staff were very friendly and attentive and it was always a pleasure to see Flor and Andrea at breakfast and at dinner. They also have a rooftop bar with great views. We would definitely stay here again
