Distributed over a number of rocky terraces, linked by way of a characteristic funicular railway, the hotel was constructed using the same local stone traditionally employed in the area.

The magic from your own room

Hotel Le Agavi offers luxurious guest accommodation in individually appointed bedrooms and suites, all of which have their own balcony or terrace from where to enjoy wonderful views of Positano and the sea.

The hotel's cliff edge swimming pool, complete with poolside bar, offers the maximum in privacy and breathtaking views.

Special dinners under the moonlight

Guests sojourning at Le Agavi can choose to dine in the elegant "Serra" restaurant, or in the less formal "Remesse" restaurant, located on the hotel's private beach. Wherever they decide to eat, clients can expect to be served fabulous Mediterranean cuisine, prepared using only the freshest of local fish and sun-ripened fruit and vegetables.

Those wishing to sunbathe can do so by the side of the hotel's striking, cliff-edge swimming pool or on the hotel's private beach, the latter accessed by way of two lifts. Excellent

We chose this hotel based on reviews and value for money in what is a very expensive area. Upon arrival we were a little disappointed as the hotel does need a refurb and is very traditional. However this is made up for by the best staff we have ever encountered in any hotel. The reception , concierge , shuttle bus drivers, doormen and housekeeping are absolutely superb. The rooms are basic but a nice size with great views, but they are super clean with all amenities required. The breakfast was in keeping, excellent and nothing too much trouble for the staff. We highly recommend A special mention to Sonia and Ivan for their help .

The bed was so soft that I have enjoyed a lovely time with my wife. The services are so good that I wanna to stay there very soon. The hotel is decorated with fully greeny environments. All are requested to visit with the couple or family. Thanks.

Room was great, view was amazing, breakfast was the best we'd seen in our 3 week trip, and to top it off, the staff and service were over-the-top amazing - friendly, helpful with making reservations and suggestions, there for every need. Shuttle service was convenient and reliable.

Beauty in Positano

We were invited by friends to join them to stay at this hotel in beautiful Positano. There was nothing bad about this property and the amazing staff that we encountered. Everyone was super helpful and went above and beyond to help when they could. Although there was not a sand beach they did have lounge chairs on deck that had sea access, with attentive staff for food and drink. The bonus was the frequent shuttle that ran between the hotel and the city center. I would recommend this property to friends.

Map

Positano's Hotel Le Agavi occupies a breathtakingly panoramic position on the cliffs directly above the Baia di Fornillo, one of the most enchanting bays on the whole of the Amalfi Coast.

Praiano, Conca dei Marini, Atrani, Amalfi and Ravello are all just a short car, bus or boat ride away, as are the archeological sites of Paestum, Pompeii and Herculaneum, the historic seaside town of Sorrento and the city of Naples.
