We loved our stay here. Very comfortable bed, nice updated shower and wonderful balcony facing the street and the water. Breakfast each morning was also excellent. Best of all were the staff. Manager Mr. Talamo is amazing and ensures his entire staff are friendly and courteous. Tony at the front desk was very helpful with directions and suggestions during our stay. Vincenzo is not only a terrific bar tender, he helped us with several other things during our stay. The location is also great. Several nice restaurants a short walk away and there is a city bus stop right in front of the hotel. We would walk down the many steps to the city square, piers, beach, etc. Then we would get a ticket for the Interno bus at the Tobacco shop by the bus stop and take the bus up the hill and get dropped off right by the hotel. I would tell the bus driver name of hotel and he would tell us when to get off. Just perfect.

Highlight of our trip!

We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and we loved the funky art decor. Breakfast was exceptional- some of the highlights included fresh pastries, freshly squeezed juice, and made to order eggs and bacon. Later in the day the breakfast area/front patio are the perfect spot to have a reasonably priced cocktail with a view. The balcony view from our room of the water was gorgeous too. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and gave us tips on planning things to do during our visit. I was very grateful they were able to give us recommendations on routes to take around town so we didn’t end up taking too many flights of steps. The location is perfect- a quick walk to the bus stop at the top to catch the bus for path of the gods, about 10-15 minutes or so down to the beach, and on a quiet part of the road so you can enjoy your balcony in peace! This stay was the highlight of our entire trip to Italy, and if we are lucky enough to take another trip back, then I would not hesitate to book with them again.

Wonderful place to stay in Positano

My family of 4 stayed at the Art Hotel Pasitea for 3 nights. They helped to connect us with a reliable and comfortable transfer from the Naples train station to their hotel (@PositanoTranfer). They were welcoming when we checked in and gave us an overview of what the area had to offer, food recommendations, beach details, options for stairs or bus if we got too tired (those stairs are not a joke!!). They were responsive and helpful with all of our questions. The room was clean and had a spectacular view. This hotel is high up on the cliff but worth it if you're able to do the stairs. The walk to town and to either beach available to us was fine on the way down, but pace yourself coming up. All part of the charm of positano!! We reserved our room directly from the hotel website (not a 3rd party travel sight) and were able to include breakfast in our reservation. It was a lovely place to stay and we really enjoyed our time here.
