A 4-star hotel surrounded by the colors of bougainvillea, blessed by the sun of Positano and overlooking a panorama that embraces Li Galli, the Fornillo Tower and the silvery reflections of the Mediterranean. At Hotel Punta Regina, you'll find the Amalfi Coast you've always dreamed of.

The rooms are furnished with the elegance of Positano's historic residences, yet never lose the warmth that makes you feel right at home. The architecture highlights the soft lines of the arches and light-filled spaces, enriched by the vibrant colors of Vietri majolica and terracotta floors that blend with all the comforts needed for a completely relaxing stay. Accommodations are divided into Standard, Superior, Deluxe and Deluxe Special, ranging from 24 to 38 sqm: second-floor rooms have a sea-view terrace, while third-floor rooms have a balcony with a higher vantage point.

The crown jewel of Hotel Punta Regina, the Suites (including Suite 27 and Suite 36) capture the quintessence of a top-class Positano holiday. The spaces are divided into a sleeping area and a living area, and when you want to enjoy the sunset breeze, you can retreat to the terrace gazebos. It's on these terraces that some suites feature a Jacuzzi tub, an essential touch for relaxing body and spirit without ever losing sight of the sea of the Coast.

It's hard to resist the view from Punta Regina's rooftop. Here you can start the day with a generous breakfast buffet, a great chance to try delicious local pastries, and return after a long afternoon at the beach for a cocktail with friends, and above all, to watch the moment the sun gives way to night and the Amalfi Coast lights up.

For those wanting to explore the coast by sea, the hotel arranges custom boat tours through hidden coves, crystal-clear waters and excursions to Capri.

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff

I was there at the beginning of the July. We had had been to Positano before. The staff at the front desk helped us to arrange a porter to meet us at the ferry docks and bring our bags to the hotel. They welcomed us so nicely upon our arrival. Gave us a small tour and a refreshing glass of lemonade. The rooftop staff where the pool is were so pleasant and helpful. They bent over backwards to make your stay and enjoyable. I will definitely be back.

WOW! Hotel Punta Regina is THE BEST hotel experience I have every had. This is a special place with real heart and soul, beautiful authentic decor, and the most attentive and caring service I have ever experienced. The rooftop pool area (with a delicious breakfast and lunch service and gorgeous views) was our sanctuary. Francesca and the rest of the staff have perfected the essence of hospitality. Words cannot express how grateful I am for the privilege of staying in the Punta Caterina Villa with my family of 5 for 4 nights. The villa has been renovated perfectly, while still maintaining it's original gorgeous local floor tile and ceilings. The balcony is simple stunning, with a panoramic view over Positano and the sea. I highly recommend Hotel Punta Regina if you are excited by authenticity. This is a family run hotel and you can feel it! I would also highly recommend booking their private boat tour. It was the highlight of our trip and a great value for a one of a kind experience.

Spectacular hotel & exceptional staff

We absolutely loved our stay here. Francesca at the front desk was so welcoming, accommodating, she not only went above and beyond to get us the fabulous room that I was hoping for but offered wonderful insight and recommendations during our stay. The property is situated about a 10 min walk from the main square which we appreciated, as to avoid all of the crowds and the noise. While the hotel is not directly on the water, it still offers incredible views, a relaxing atmosphere and a lovely terrace to enjoy breakfast or a swim in the pool. Our suite, number 33, was wonderful. Waking up, opening the doors to our balcony and taking in the morning in our jacuzzi overlooking the ocean was an absolute highlight and we loved the view from our bed and from the bathroom as well. The property and room was well looked after and cleaned daily. We enjoyed the daily breakfast offered at the pool deck area, provided by a very welcoming and gracious staff, however we ended up taking breakfast to enjoy on our private balcony. The pool looked very inviting but unfortunately a bit too cold for our May stay. If you are interested in booking a boat to explore the coast, the hotel has one to charter. I highly recommend the experience. If you are looking for a hotel away from the crowds, offering spectacular views, incredible hospitality and customer service, you cannot go wrong with Punta Regina. Thank you to all of the staff who made our stay absolutely perfect!

Amazing staff at Hotel Punta Regina

We just returned from a trip to Positano. We considered staying at Hotel Poseidon and decided to stay at Hotel Punta Regina instead since the rooms at Hotel Regina looked larger. We LOVED Hotel Regina! The hotel had a great location for us, it was super clean, intimate, spacious room, the staff was wonderful and the roof top pool was lovely. It was also right down the street from one of our favorite restaurants - Mediterraneo. Francesca at the front desk was LOVELY - warm, inviting and very helpful. The waiters at the rooftop bar/dining spot were all wonderful and extremely welcoming. The day we rented a boat, we walked up to the rooftop to get a coffee to go. Without saying anything, one of the waiters recognized what we were doing and handed me a white to-go bag. He instructed me to fill it with breakfast items while he made my cappuccino to go. He then filled a plastic container with fresh fruit for us and placed it in another to go bag. While the location worked for us - it is a lot of steps to get to Spaggia Beach (roughly 397). For us, it served as our daily exercise and allowed us to eat all the pasta and treats we wanted guilt free. We cannot wait to go back! Thank you, Francesca and all Hotel Regina staff!
