With its graceful arches, pretty, flower-decked balconies, and magnificent sea view terraces, Positano's Hotel Punta Regina is the kind of place dream holidays are made of.

Brimming with southern Italian charm, Hotel Punta Regina's light-filled bedrooms feature exquisite, hand-painted majolica floor tiles, sumptuous marble bathrooms, and beautiful views of the town of Positano or the sea. Ideal honeymoon accommodation, each of Punta Regina's suites has its own sea view terrace complete with outdoor Jacuzzi and gazebo.

The hotel's fourth floor terrace provides a wonderfully panoramic, open air breakfast room, where guests are treated to a generous selection of local pastries, cheeses, cold meats and fresh fruit each morning. In the evening, as the sun sets, the terrace quickly transforms into an exclusive venue for a cocktail party or glamorous social gathering.

Drenched in sun from dawn until dusk, the hotel's terraces are the perfect places in which to achieve an authentic, Mediterranean tan, as are Positano's "Spiaggia Grande" and "Fornillo" beaches, both of which are situated within easy reach of Punta Regina. For holidaymakers keen to explore the other towns dotted along the Amalfi Coast, reception staff will be pleased to organize guided tours and excursions, either by car or boat.

Amazing staff at Hotel Punta Regina

We just returned from a trip to Positano. We considered staying at Hotel Poseidon and decided to stay at Hotel Punta Regina instead since the rooms at Hotel Regina looked larger. We LOVED Hotel Regina! The hotel had a great location for us, it was super clean, intimate, spacious room, the staff was wonderful and the roof top pool was lovely. It was also right down the street from one of our favorite restaurants - Mediterraneo. Francesca at the front desk was LOVELY - warm, inviting and very helpful. The waiters at the rooftop bar/dining spot were all wonderful and extremely welcoming. The day we rented a boat, we walked up to the rooftop to get a coffee to go. Without saying anything, one of the waiters recognized what we were doing and handed me a white to-go bag. He instructed me to fill it with breakfast items while he made my cappuccino to go. He then filled a plastic container with fresh fruit for us and placed it in another to go bag. While the location worked for us - it is a lot of steps to get to Spaggia Beach (roughly 397). For us, it served as our daily exercise and allowed us to eat all the pasta and treats we wanted guilt free. We cannot wait to go back! Thank you, Francesca and all Hotel Regina staff!

A true gem in Positano!!

Our stay at Punta Regina was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, Francesca and the rest of the staff made us feel less like guests and more like family. Every member of the team was genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive, consistently going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their kindness, professionalism, and personal touches made all the difference and created an experience we will never forget. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and an atmosphere that perfectly captures the magic of Positano. Every detail is thoughtfully maintained, and the property is impeccably clean. Our room and all common areas were spotless, comfortable, and elegant. What truly sets Punta Regina apart is the exceptional hospitality. The staff anticipated our needs (including opening the kitchen early just so we could eat before a very early tour of the Path of Gods), provided wonderful recommendations, and always greeted us with genuine smiles. Their dedication to making every guest feel special is remarkable. We have stayed in many hotels around the world, and Punta Regina stands among the very best. It exceeded our expectations in every way, and we honestly wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when visiting Positano. We cannot wait to return and experience their incredible hospitality and the breathtaking views again. Highly, highly recommended!

This is our 2nd stay at the lovely Punta Regina, and we love it here! Punts Regina is simple, quaint and elegante with lovely ambiance and fine furnishings, spacious room and terraces. It has beautiful views overlooking the sea and Positano from each room. Every morning is breakfast with breathtaking views and gracious hosts, especially Giuseppe aka Stick. Francesca and Giuseppina are wonderful, so helpful and offer such warm and gracious hospitality. If you are planning to stay in Positano, I highly recommend this charming, lovely hotel! It will stay with you long after you leave!

This property is just magical! From the super professional & engaging staff, the stunning room & location, and the food & drink service it was absolutely exceptional. My husband & I have stayed at many luxury establishments around the world and at 4 stars it sits well above many of the 5 star hotels we have stayed at. You will not be disappointed!

Map

From its location in the highest part of the historic center of Positano, Hotel Punta Regina enjoys breathtakingly beautiful views of the sea.
The town's Fornillo and Spiaggia Grande beaches are both within easy walking distance of the hotel, as is the maze of little lanes in which to find any number of elegant boutiques selling Positano's colorful beachwear and legendary made-to-measure sandals.
The towns of Amalfi and Ravello and the tiny fishing villages of Praiano, Conca dei Marini, Furore, Atrani, Maiori and Minori are all no more than a 30 minute drive away.
