Via Pasitea, 224 - Positano

With its graceful arches, pretty, flower-decked balconies, and magnificent sea view terraces, Positano's Hotel Punta Regina is the kind of place dream holidays are made of.

Brimming with southern Italian charm, Hotel Punta Regina's light-filled bedrooms feature exquisite, hand-painted majolica floor tiles, sumptuous marble bathrooms, and beautiful views of the town of Positano or the sea. Ideal honeymoon accommodation, each of Punta Regina's suites has its own sea view terrace complete with outdoor Jacuzzi and gazebo.

The hotel's fourth floor terrace provides a wonderfully panoramic, open air breakfast room, where guests are treated to a generous selection of local pastries, cheeses, cold meats and fresh fruit each morning. In the evening, as the sun sets, the terrace quickly transforms into an exclusive venue for a cocktail party or glamorous social gathering.

Drenched in sun from dawn until dusk, the hotel's terraces are the perfect places in which to achieve an authentic, Mediterranean tan, as are Positano's "Spiaggia Grande" and "Fornillo" beaches, both of which are situated within easy reach of Punta Regina. For holidaymakers keen to explore the other towns dotted along the Amalfi Coast, reception staff will be pleased to organize guided tours and excursions, either by car or boat.

Favorite Hotel Staff of our trip, possibly ever!

We just got back from a 16 day trip through southern Italy. We stayed at 7 different hotels, and this hotel was one of our favorites. The hotel is really beautiful and is in a great location away from the crowds. The breakfast Al fresco every morning was some of the best of our trip. You can't beat the view! Our room was nice and large with a gorgeous large terrace overlooking the ocean. My one regret was wishing we had some more downtime to take advantage of the terrace and rooftop pool. But what made this hotel tops on our list was the staff. Mario, Francesca, and Stick (up in the kitchen) were beyond amazing. They mad us feel like family. They were great with communication before we got there and throughout our 4 night stay. From helping us with transportation to get to the Path of the Gods hike to outstanding restaurant recommendations, they always took care of us and made sure our stay was happy and comfortable. My wife and I travel a lot and can honestly say this is the best hotel staff we have encountered. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Exceeded Expectations

Hotel Punta Regina is in the perfect spot - a little higher up to give you breath-taking views but a 10 minute stroll down the hill to the beach front of Positano. I loved the regular walks up and down the hill each day and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Our hotel room was comfortable light and airy and had a beautiful balcony which added to the relaxing vibe but the hotel really exceeds expectations when it comes to the staff. There are many hotels with good service but the Punta Regina stands out for the effort and authenticity of the staff. Despite this being one of the biggest tourist spots in Italy, the staff have a fresh genuine approach to visitors and this adds to the thrill of being in such an amazing place. Apart from making a real effort to share local knowledge and make suggestions, the team went above and beyond in helping with queries and a travel hiccup we had with some lost sunglasses left in a limo. Special thank you to Francesca who was professional and delightful but all the team made our 4-night stay extra special. Loved it here and highly recommend!

Unforgettable Honeymoon Stay!

My wife and I stayed here for six nights on our honeymoon and we'll never forget it! The staff was so helpful for months leading up to our arrival, arranging transportation, Vespa and boat rentals and dinner reservations. When we arrived, we felt so welcomed! As a queer couple, it is particularly meaningful to feel not only safe, but celebrated for our recent marriage! The hotel is in a prime location for having a great view while also being able to access the heart of Positano (prepare for lots of steps). The room and amenities were exactly what we were hoping for (the breakfast - especially the cappuccinos - was even better!!). The housekeeping kept our space immaculate and the staff continued to be so helpful throughout our time there. Special shoutout to Francesca and "Stick," who made us smile every single time we saw them and helped us immensely with their expert knowledge of the area. We'll never forget our time at the Punta Regina!

Incredible Views & Above and Beyond Service

Punta Regina went above & beyond expectations. We had one of the best welcomes I've ever experienced upon arrival. Our room was not ready but we were offered water &. Seat on the gorgeous patio. We ended up ordering lunch & meeting more of the extremely friendly staff. Breakfast on the patio was a highlight. Location was excellent. We had a basic room which was cleaned twice a day & the bathroom had room for two female friends to get ready at the same time. I would absolutely stay again! Highly recommend!

Map

From its location in the highest part of the historic center of Positano, Hotel Punta Regina enjoys breathtakingly beautiful views of the sea.
The town's Fornillo and Spiaggia Grande beaches are both within easy walking distance of the hotel, as is the maze of little lanes in which to find any number of elegant boutiques selling Positano's colorful beachwear and legendary made-to-measure sandals.
The towns of Amalfi and Ravello and the tiny fishing villages of Praiano, Conca dei Marini, Furore, Atrani, Maiori and Minori are all no more than a 30 minute drive away.
