Intimate and welcoming, Hotel Pupetto provides attractive guest accommodation in just 34 bedrooms, all decorated in classic Amalfi Coast fashion. Superior rooms feature the traditional majolica floor tiles produced in nearby Vietri and open out on to stunning, sea view terraces. Even the bathrooms have windows overlooking the sea!

From the sea to your plate. Just a few meters lie between the sparkling water lapping the Amalfi Coast and the terrace of Hotel Pupetto's restaurant, where guests can expect to enjoy delicious fish cuisine, wonderfully fragrant pizzas and a superb selection of wines.

In the summer months, guests are likely to spend much of their holiday on the beach of Fornillo, where Hotel Pupetto has its own bathing establishment, complete with sun beds, beach umbrellas and snack bar. In the vicinity of the lido, there is a diving center where visitors can rent equipment and book underwater excursions with a local guide.

A pretty little lane links the hotel with the picturesque historic center of Positano. From Positano, Amalfi, Atrani, Maiori, Minori and all the other towns dotted along the Amalfi Coast, are just a short car or boat ride away.

Perfection in Positano

Hotel Pupetto is truly a haven from the tourist crowds of Positano but only a short walk away along the beautiful Amalfi Coast. The food exceeded our expectations, the service perfectly attentive and the joie de vivre transported us to a scene out of La Dolce Vita—the way we imagined the Amalfi Coast was in our minds.

A quieter location in Positano

This place is a gem! Just around the corner from the hustle and bustle of main Positano. Plan to arrive by FERRY - MUCH easier. We arrived by car and it was a bit difficult. Departing by Ferry was a breeze. Let the hotel know and they will help w/ luggage, so all you need to do is stroll down (and up) the gentle stairs/walkway to their beautiful cave entrance. It's magical! When you are there you are a world away from the noise, crowds, and lights of Positano proper, but only a 10 minute walk when you want to re-engage in all the activity of Positano. Those who mentioned all the stairs to the "better restaurants' of Positano, you need to consider that Positano is a vertical city and everything is at least 300 stairs up - it's the charm of Positano! The only thing I would mention is that to use Pupetto's private beach, you still need to pay - it is not complimentary for guests. While there is a discount, it is still pricey - so for that price you can choose any Positano beach. :). It would be nice if the beach and umbrellas were complimentary for guests. The beach was very quiet in September, but what a welcome retreat!

We could not recommend this hotel enough! Perfect location-easiest point in the town to move luggage to and from. Lovely beach! Excellent breakfast and out door lounge. Away from the crowds of Positano. Very helpful staff.
