Il Refettorio restaurant is aptly named, given its location within the Monastero Santa Rosa hotel, one of the most iconic hotels along the Amalfi Coast, which is housed in a 17th-century convent. Guests dine at tables arranged on the restaurant's panoramic terrace with a view that extends from the verdant garden to the tranquil swimming pool and out to the vast sea beyond. Executive Chef Alfonso Crescenzo ably redefines regional culinary traditions with his unique interpretation of dishes that make a memorable impact. An experience that remains!

At Il Refettorio the experience was simply excellent. The restaurant is welcoming, attention to detail and immersed in the splendid atmosphere of Pettorano sul Gizio, one of the most picturesque villages in Abruzzo. The cuisine is essential and refined: each dish is prepared with care, balance and passion, with authentic flavors enhanced by a touch of refinement. Right portions, elegant presentation and impeccable taste. The service is friendly, attentive and professional, always present without being intrusive. Special praise to Luca, kind and smiling, able to make you feel really at home. A restaurant that deserves a stop, both for a romantic dinner and a family lunch. We will definitely be back!

Wonderfully creative restaurant dishes

The food at this Michelin restaurant is excellent. While not unexpectedly expensive, the dishes are fresh and inventive. We especially enjoyed all of the seafood offerings and their artistic presentations. The wine list, while also expensive, is extensive leaving nothing to be desired. Staying at MSR, of course, compliments the restaurant perfectly: the ultimate in relaxation in causal yet elegant luxury.

Exceptional location within the Monastery of Santa Rosa, magical and beautiful place with a view overlooking the amazing sea. Excellent service, attentive and never intrusive. TOP quality food, starting with the various types of bread prepared by the chef. All based on local products and traditions obviously revisited and reworked in a modern, michelin-style key, especially the former, with full tradition and flavors of Campania. Do not miss the 'decomposed' Neapolitan pastiera.

It is a little piece of paradise... The sea is at hand , the cuisine is perfect, the products are sublime and the service, all soft and kind... An address away from the bustle of Positano and Amalfi... An event to celebrate, a romantic dinner: it is the ideal place... The exclusively Italian wine list is breathtaking with appropriate glasses and Riedel decanters! Congratulations to the whole team
