While visiting Positano, you must have dinner at Il Ritrovo. The restaurant arranges car service from your hotel in Positano, which will pick you up and drop you back off. It is at the very top of one of the mountains in Montpetruso. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the valley and the sea and inside you can see all of the vegetables from the family’s garden that they use in their dishes. The food was wonderful and the service was exceptional. You must go to dinner here.

Everything about this place is amazing. Friendly people, Davide, Salvatore, and all the other waitresses and waiters. Food is unbelievable! Thank you so much. Oh and don’t forget the drinks! Amazing.

Although our hotel had recommended good quality, Italian restaurants during our stay in Positano, this one ended up being a total disappointment. The service was extremely poor. The hostess was rude when reminded that our drinks hadn’t been served. The pasta and shrimp was overcooked and bland while the arugula salad looked tired and old. Even though it is convenient for the restaurant to provide a shuttle for our return to the hotel, the employee driving us back made four stops to pick up random women who joined the ride. We had never experienced this with our restaurant shuttles. Overall, the terrible service and poor quality food isn’t worth the money or the 20 minute ride. Moving
