To escape the devastating heat of this scorching July, on our trip to Positano we looked for and found a Wow🤩 restaurant… Il Ritrovo. After consulting Tripadvisor, on the evening of the 29th we booked a table for lunch on Thursday, July 30th. The manager provided us with all the directions to reach the restaurant and in 20 minutes, by public bus, we arrived at the top of Montepertuso. A breathtaking view, a light cool breeze, and fantastic cuisine awaited us! Compliments again to the staff behind the stove, the dining room staff, and the manager, who kindly advised and pampered us during the meal. Everything was very good, but the roasted octopus 🐙, the eggplant parmigiana (which brought us back to the flavors of mom and grandma's cooking), and the scialatielli with lemon cream deserve a special mention! A good glass of Fiano and water, lots of water to replenish what was lost in Positano before coming up. Sublime experience! Recommended to everyone who wants to get away for a moment from splendid Positano and enjoy the flavors and the view that the restaurant offers!

Great atmosphere. Wonderful server. A challenge to get there but shuttle service was wonderful! For sure recommend! It’s nice to be outside of the town and where locals live.

I don’t know how to put into words how special this place is! When I guide tours, I bring our groups there. But just recently I stayed in Montepertuso for almost 2 weeks so It became the restaurant I went to almost every night. They welcomed to me like family, their warmth and kindness is as special as their delicious food. I chose a different dish each night and I couldn’t say what I love the most! It certainly is a place where they make you feel like home! If you were going to be anywhere on the Amalfi Coast it’s a must stop! Thank you to all of you! I miss you already! Kim
