Fabulous!! We all (6people) shared a pizza to start- it was scrumptious then we all got pasta dishes, I had the egg noodle with asparagus, it was divine Then chocolate bomb cake with a side of ice cream, lemon cake and pistachio cheesecake! Do not skip dessert My favorite place so far

I don’t think, however articulate I might try to be, that mere words can adequately describe just how amazing a place La Capannina is. The food is exquisite, the service is friendly, the hospitality is warm and heartfelt... everything about this restaurant just exemplifies excellence. We stayed in Pogerola for two weeks and, once we discovered ‘the little hut’, we went nowhere else. This place fully represents Italian hospitality and culinary delight. The quintessential family-run restaurant, they make you feel like a true guest. The food was absolutely brilliant. A real treat and proper delight, if you’re looking for a great meal and a very enjoyable experience, look no further than La Capannina. Top notch in every way.

We were less than impressed but most of that was due to the service. They didn’t seem to care that we were there. All the food was served at once versus asking if we’d like th salad first. The woman server was nice and thoughtful. The pasta with seafood was very good. The male waiters seemed indifferent at best. They charge a 5 Euro cover charge per person. 10 euros for a so so restaurant seems like a lot. I don’t really care but it reflects what they are interested in - your money over you having a great meal and experience. Go to Aurora further up the street instead for a much better experience and superior service. They were wonderful and it’s much nicer and more exclusive restaurant. It wasn’t cheap but it was great so well worth it. The servers were attentive and professional.

My friends and I ate in this restaurant on our last night in Amalfi. We didn't plan to go here, it was on a walk about that we decided to go in here. Great host and beautiful views. We ate underneath lemon trees, which was a new experience and it was lovely. The food was lovely, drinks were nice and the service was great. Highly recommend this restaurant.
