Absolute Perfection as always! The food is incredible. The staff kind and friendly. The drinks divine. And the views of the sea are magical. Everything was so so good. We eat here every time we visit the Amalfi Coast so that has been about 7 times since 2007.

Shuttle never turned up! Do NOT book this restaurant!

I booked La Tagliata for my husband 40th birthday 2 weeks in advance and managed to get a dinner table for 9pm, the shuttle was due to pick us up from our accommodation at 8.10pm, we waited for 30 minutes, phoned and they told us it was on the way, but after another 30 minutes no shuttle! We phoned and phoned an no answer! SO we were left at the side of the road for an hour on my husbands birthday - SUCH a huge let down, DO NOT book this restaurant. They had my phone number and have never emailed an apology or anything. I should have believed all of the negative reviews on here. SO many MUCH better places to eat in Positano. Save yourself and do not go here

Disappointing & Discriminatory service

We had high expectations given the restaurant's reputation, and while the food was exceptional, flavorful, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with skill. The service we received was shockingly discriminatory. We politely requested a table with a view and were told we'd be seated when one became available. However, we watched as multiple groups who asked *after* us were immediately accommodated. When we inquired again, a staff member responded, "Pay €200, then you can sit there. It's my business." This is a blatant disrespect, we were shocked. Another unequal treatment we felt was while other guests had the card machine brought to them, we were instructed to walk all the way to the entrance, to their counter to pay with card instead. It became more evident in the disparity in service toward us. As a young foreign couple, we felt deliberately overlooked, humiliated, and stripped of basic courtesy. Which is a shame, as the food deserves praise, but the prejudice we experienced overshadows it entirely.
