La Tagliata

Thanks to the view, it compensates for the poor quality of the dishes and service. Nothing excellent or delicious, but filling the small plates with many things one on top of the other makes the tourist happy, who sees the view and smiles with a fresh white wine in hand. Certainly not a destination for experts, also given the non-competitive prices.

heard so much about this restaurant and was so looking forward to experiencing the restaurant, ambience cooking venue and service ,Unfortunately it really did not live up to the hype. I take no satisfaction by leaving a disgruntled review but feel needed . Our server was as he said tired and proceeded to be miserable throughout the evening ,just about telling us what we were eating as he dropped the plates down .The food was average at best and meat overcooked and cold ! journey back was on a small coach which was packed thus people standing .the general feeling from fellow diners was the restaurant would score a 6/10 .i left 25% service and the waiter seemed somewhat disgruntled Lets hope it was just an off day !

We had great lunch here after walking the Path of Gods as it was just 20 minutes from the end. It is a beautiful spot high above the sea with a garden where they grow many of their vegetables. Food was very good homemade vegetables, pasta, and grilled meat. It was way more food than we could possibly eat. Tony was a great waiter who entertained us as though we were family. Great to hear his story about how his uncle started it. He also booked a taxi for us to go back to Positano.

We were at this restaurant today, 09.26.12 for lunch, for the first time.. Rustic place, well-kept with an incredible view.. Clean, tidy, in short, you feel at home. Fast service, kind and helpful staff, we were served by Massimo, a nice and professional person.. Good quality food, local raw materials.. the meat is excellent, rustic, never eaten a grilled chicken with that flavor, it particularly struck me. Fixed menu 45 euros per person, We did not have the various appetizers by personal choice, but the menu is quite rich. Good value for money. Parking available along the road. In short, compliments to everyone. Will return.
