La Tagliata

We heard great things about this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We knew it would likely be somewhat gimmicky. First of all… views like you’ll never see again! It absolutely took my breath away. The food to me was good and plenty but not a culinary experience by any means. The service was pretty good. Now to the shuttle. They clearly have a problem because we all waited 20 minutes and like others said, there wasn’t room for everyone. They had so send a second shuttle. they seemed surprised by the quantity of people waiting. I’m assuming we all had reservations and I didn’t get that. The drive up was a classic Amalfi experience with lots of tight turns and something to keep in mind if you are the person that gets car sick! I would recommend it if you can relax and manage the inconvenience of the logistics.

Everything was delicious, genuine from the appetizers, through the first courses, and finishing with the second courses and desserts.

Great place!!! Mediocre food...

We had an awful experience tonight. They are not organized at all with their reservations and the shuttle they offer. We arrived at our pick up point at 6:00 for a 6:10 pick up. They filled the first shuttle with 10 people and said another shuttle was coming shortly for the remainder 11 of us. At 6:45 we called the restaurant because no one came for us. They said they would send another shuttle, but people were already on the shuttle when it arrived and there was not room for us. We wasted over an hour and a half of our time standing at the shuttle stop waiting. This restaurant is not organized enough to accommodate their customers. My recommendation..don’t waste your vacation time waiting for a shuttle that might not come.
