Meat hot off the grill overlooking Positano and Li Gall
A farm restaurant known for its grilled meats and sea views, great for families.
Try: the mixed grill over coals.

Disappointed

I just realized many people had the same bad experience as i had. We stood and waited for an hour for the shuttle and we were even mocked by staff when we finally arrived that we did not wait at the right place while in fact we were just literally 5 steps away.
Food portions were way more than we could take and therefore created a lot of waste. Food quality were just so-so. Some meat were so chewy and dry and they were not much different from the weekend bbq at home.

Great value, good food, beautiful views

I'm puzzled by the negative reviews. We had such a good experience we came back the next night! We've been to Italy many times, eaten in Michelin-starred restaurants, and we thought the food here was wonderful. We appreciated the casual, family-style approach after fancier meals in Positano. The view was breathtaking, and Tony, the Maitre d', promised us the coveted corner table if we came back the next night like we swore we would. We did, and he kept his promise! We were visiting with friends and had a lively meal. Lots of families here, so don't expect a soothing, romantic atmosphere. We thought all of the food and wine for 60 Euro was a great value and definitely recommend coming hungry! The food comes out quickly once you arrive since you don't have to order, but we never felt rushed. I think as a group of four we were given four different appetizers, four pastas, a very large plate of meat, an entire steak, and four desserts, plus bottles of red and white wine and water that they constantly replenished. It was one of the most memorable meals of our trip. My only criticism was the inconsistency of the buses/vans for pickup - you never knew exactly when they were coming, and once you left for the evening it was sometimes a long wait to get one back. I don't think we waited longer than 20 minutes though either night. and standing around waiting is a great time to make friends with others!

JUST RUN!!!!

We booked this restaurant on the last night of our Italian trip. We were looking forward to a stunning view and excellent food. We were met with the ambiance you’d find at a circus (but with a really nice view).
Be warned this is a no menu- family style restaurant so if that’s your jam maybe you’d have a different experience. The pace of service makes it very clear this restaurants goal is to turn tables as fast as possible.
The appetizers included a caprese salad (decent), a plate of beans, a plate of mashed broccoli, and squash with eggplant parm. All the food had the same overcooked texture with little flavor.
The next course arrived, and it reminded us of a tour of italy dish you’d find at the Olive Garden in the states. This was not the pasta experience we had hoped for. It was overcooked and flavorless.
I’d love to tell you about the final dinner course or dessert but we were so appalled by the wham bam thank you mam service and lack of quality food we asked for our check before it arrived. To the restaurants credit they did not charge us for the whole meal once we said our food wasn’t good. They assured us our shuttle to Noccele was waiting, when we got to the street there were 20 other patrons outside waiting who had been there 30+ min.
Save yourself the money and hassle and just go to Santa croca In Noccele for the views, food, and service that will wow you!

Didn’t receive what the set menu stated

I rarely write negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience here to be upfront. Before our visit, we received the menu by email, which clearly stated that fruit was included with the lunch price. However, when we asked for it during our meal, the staff told us fruit wasn’t included at lunch. This contradicts what the menu says and felt like a deliberate misrepresentation.
As Italians, we carefully read and understood the menu (in Italian), and we also clearly understood what the staff said. It was disappointing to be misled and assumed to be tourists who wouldn’t notice the discrepancy. Don’t think people are stupid.
This kind of behavior feels dishonest and frankly unacceptable. It left a poor impression of the restaurant and made us question the integrity of the service. I hope this review encourages the restaurant to be more honest and respectful to their guests in the future.
