La tonnarella

Exaggerated in everything, in the prices , in the fast Service but not attentive, in the hearty dishes but not fresh, a disappointment if it were not for the place that is beautiful! But you know in coastal is normal

We originally planned to go to Conca del Sogno but, after hearing the prices were very high, our boat recommended La Tonnarella instead. In hindsight, we would have preferred to pay the extra money for a better experience. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired-the waitresses weren't very friendly and it was difficult to get their attention, as they were often sitting at a table on their phones. We also ordered drinks that ended up not being available, and instead were brought a round of Aperol with a "hope that's okay." The food was our least favorite meal of the trip. The carbonara I ordered wasn't creamy and had so few pieces of pancetta that it barely resembled carbonara. The Nerano was also my least favorite Nerano pasta we had. The best dish we had was the caprese salad, which was fresh and delicious. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but with limited meals on vacation and the money spent, I want to be honest for others considering this spot.

Restorate sul mare, historic, is said to have been a favorite of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. The "must have" is the typical dish "Tubetti con titani". A variety of exceptional seafood and land dishes, including desserts. Fast and attentive Service, suitable for younger guests. A "pit stop" a must, and to be repeated pleasantly

Gorgeous sea view... too bad it was the only positive thing of the evening. Arrived for dinner at about 20:30 we sit down and order, we discover at 22:00 that the kitchen was already closed and it was no longer possible to order anything. We found ourselves footing a hefty bill with practically nothing to eat. Prices decidedly out of proportion to the quality and quantity of the dishes (minimized). A wasted opportunity: the location deserves much more Service and attention towards customers. Ps we ordered two appetizers for 4 people with an impepata of mussels two first scalatielli with seafood and two grilled mixed "non-fresh fish" and 3 bottles of Greek tufa wine a total of 312 € without offering us even a coffee
