Nice location but it's not worth what it costs! $10 per person for the cover charge and not even a welcome amuse-bouche or an entrée offered by the kitchen. Service $7, two spaghetti alla Nerano $58.... if only they had been good! A huge plate of overcooked pasta and a single amberjack tartare $35. Total $125 for two pasta dishes is unacceptable! It is truly not recommended

We arrived in Nerano and anchored our boat to the buoy. Looking for a place to have dinner, we were recommended the restaurant Lo Scoglio, very scenic and overlooking the sea directly. The atmosphere is evocative and the location is certainly impressive. That said, the dinner did not meet expectations. Considering the level of the restaurant and the prices, we expected higher quality in the dishes, which unfortunately we did not find. At the end of the evening, moreover, we were charged for an extra bottle of wine, an error that further worsened the experience. Another aspect that could be improved is the service: the waiters do not shine for friendliness or attention, and this affects the general atmosphere of the dinner. In conclusion: splendid location, but we recommend paying close attention to menu choices and checking the bill carefully. The overall experience did not live up to expectations. barbara

Avoid this place They try to rip off their customers. We were charged €10 per person for coperto, which we completely understand. However, we were ALSO charged an additional “servizio” fee that we were never informed about, plus an extra charge for sitting outside, which was not clearly stated on the menu or website. When we tried to question the bill, the owner was extremely arrogant and disrespectful. She wouldn’t let us speak and instead tried to charge us even more. Absolutely unacceptable. We had visited before and considered ourselves returning customers, which makes this even more disappointing. Unfortunately, this time we felt treated like tourists who could simply be overcharged. The food is good, but definitely not worth these prices or this treatment. We strongly recommend other restaurants in the area where it’s worth paying more because you actually know what you’re paying for. LO Scoglio — never again!!

We arrived there from the sea. Very beautiful location. Professional and courteous staff. The food is good, the raw fish is high quality, the spaghetti alla Nerano does not disappoint. High prices.
