Avoid this place They try to rip off their customers. We were charged €10 per person for coperto, which we completely understand. However, we were ALSO charged an additional “servizio” fee that we were never informed about, plus an extra charge for sitting outside, which was not clearly stated on the menu or website. When we tried to question the bill, the owner was extremely arrogant and disrespectful. She wouldn’t let us speak and instead tried to charge us even more. Absolutely unacceptable. We had visited before and considered ourselves returning customers, which makes this even more disappointing. Unfortunately, this time we felt treated like tourists who could simply be overcharged. The food is good, but definitely not worth these prices or this treatment. We strongly recommend other restaurants in the area where it’s worth paying more because you actually know what you’re paying for. LO Scoglio — never again!!

We arrived there from the sea. Very beautiful location. Professional and courteous staff. The food is good, the raw fish is high quality, the spaghetti alla Nerano does not disappoint. High prices.

Arrogant and rude owner

The bay of Marina del Cantone is enchanting and offers a unique atmosphere. The staff is kind and professional, the wine cellar is rich and well-stocked. The linguine with mantis shrimp were truly exquisite, a successful dish with well-balanced flavors. I cannot say the same for the sea urchin spaghetti: the taste of the sea urchin was not very intense, perhaps due to overcooking the roe. A very good conclusion with a delicious fig tart. However, there remains an important negative note: the price does not find a real justification. The splendid view of the bay, while representing a great value, is not exclusive to the restaurant, since other restaurants in the area also enjoy the same panorama and offer equally valid dishes, with high-quality raw materials. On this occasion, therefore, the bill seemed disproportionate to the overall gastronomic experience.
