We had dinner at this restaurant on the evening of July 14 with my wife and my son, and it was a truly exceptional experience. The food was simply delicious, prepared with great care and quality ingredients. Every dish was a pleasant surprise. The service was also impeccable: professional, friendly staff who were always attentive to every detail. It is rare to find such a high level in both the kitchen and the hospitality. I am from Rome and every time I go to Salerno it is a must-stop for me. This year I went there specifically to celebrate my birthday with my family. What can I say? I made a great impression with my family! Everything is very fresh, absolutely delicious, in their dishes you can taste the sea and all the love they put into cooking them. I wanted spaghetti with clams...and Mr. Enrico had it ready for me on the menu. The best I have ever eaten. Like everything else. And I am someone who knows their stuff. Quality food and a close-knit family. We returned twice and we really loved the scialatelli and the linguine with anchovies and colatura. The appetizers were also very good: the mussels and the cod fritters, not to mention the dessert, the lemon bomb, a delight prepared on the spot made of very light sponge cake with very fragrant lemon cream.

Third time in the last two months. Vertical decline. Staff less friendly than usual, side dishes ran out at eight-thirty in the evening, less willingness than usual to accommodate simple and possible seating requests, prices have risen, and portions are less generous than ever. One longs for the times when, in a place not far from the current one, a little more than a hole, Mama Rosa served good food, kindness, and balanced prices. Time for reflection. This is not acceptable.
