Mamma Rosa

Since 2021 when we discovered Mamma Rosa we have been coming back every year when we are in Salerno. Mamma Rosa is the only thing that has remained the same, it is still her but she is moving around in a house that no longer seems like hers. The cozy rustic atmosphere of the old location has now become a bit more modern but good for them 😊 One of the things I remember with the most pleasure is the friendliness of the son when it came time to pay... but perhaps now having larger premises it is more difficult to have the opportunity. But in the end you go to a restaurant to eat and with that at Mamma Rosa you are on the safe side. Undercooked and salty risotto! And when they asked at the house is everything okay? And we pointed out the risotto, the comment was “oh well, I’ll tell the kitchen, 87 euros, thanks” Of those 87 euros, 10 euros are for a small portion of plain pasta for a child (pre-cooked and hard packets)… I repeat, 10 euros Mamma Rosa, with regret, we have lost a point of reference in Salerno

The food is truly excellent with prices that are not too excessive, the restaurant staff are kind and friendly. I recommend that anyone go there
