Relais Blu

The road to reach the hotel is long, almost at the end of the Amalfi Peninsula. But that is a good thing, because the hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento or Positano. The place is perfect for those who are contemplative, lovers of peace and quiet, and plunging views of the blue Mediterranean. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, with a view of Capri. The breakfast offers fresh and varied high-quality products. And what can be said about dinner at the hotel restaurant, which offers refined cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting menu featuring seafood. Bravo to the Japanese chef and the service team, who were discreet and efficient. The infinity pool is magnificent. One could stay there all day. Spending time at this hotel is a very great pleasure; we will be back, that is for sure.

Always used to staying in relais, boutique hotels, and charming hotels, we chose to spend two days in this magnificent residence. Everything was simply perfect: from the welcome from Mrs. Bianca as soon as we arrived, to the amazing and magnificent location: two terraces from which you can see the Faraglioni, Capri, and Vesuvius. When we arrived, we were speechless! We had lunch at the bistro and had a great time. But the real surprise was the sunset by the pool. I think I can say that in my life I have been able to see a sunset like that in Santorini and in Nice, some time ago. The pool is an infinity pool and its waters blend with the wonderful sea. In front are the Faraglioni and Capri which seem so close, almost as if to touch them with your hands. The service was impeccable: from the guys in the dining room to the waiter at the pool bar, where he was of truly incomparable kindness and helpfulness. Nothing is left to chance, wherever you move, your eyes are filled with beauty: from the common areas, to the sunset, to the breathtaking view, to the very spacious and very comfortable bedroom which offers every type of comfort. Ours had a spectacular terrace. It is certainly one of the most beautiful places I have stayed in my life.

We were there to see the sunset and have an aperitif on the terrace, but unfortunately, we had other expectations. Clearly an amazing view, but a really bare terrace; no atmosphere, no background music. Watery drinks (if we want to say it, even with incomplete recipes). Poor aperitivo. I don't think we will return.

The owners and the entire team made us feel genuinely welcome. Their hospitality was warm, professional, and authentic, making us feel more like guests in their home than visitors at a hotel. The infinity pool is simply outstanding, offering one of the most spectacular views we’ve ever experienced. It’s the perfect place to relax while taking in the beauty of the coastline.
