This was an amazing bucket list experience in Nerano , On the Sorrento Peninsula in the Amalfi Coast! Dreamy views, and tasty wine flight awaits you! Everything was perfection& the price is excellent ! We had a group of 8 & were treated to: a short tour & the rest was relaxation & eating tasty bites & wine! Charcuterie board of Italian delicacies, 2 kinds of pasta, dessert & lemoncillo all tasted excellent! A MUST DO in Amalfi!

A peaceful escape in an otherwise increasingly overrun holiday destination

Stayed for 3 nights with our 2 teenage boys. The two bedroom apartment was very clean, airy, comfortable, good sized dining kitchen with hob, oven and fridge and we had a covered terrace with an excellent sea view. We arrived a little later in the day, so Guglielmo had organised food delivery to see us into the morning but we enjoyed his cheese and wine tasting when we arrived. He is very knowledgeable about local produce, which he sources and uses. His own fruit and veg gardens are inspiring and used in the kitchen and turns out very tasty food. In particular his gnocchi is so light it's like eating clouds. Great grocery store just up the hill, great restaurant down at the bay too. It really is a lovely, peaceful place to stay and return to, from trips to overrun well known towns along the coast.

Really enjoyed our stay at Villarena! I would highly recommend! Guglielmo (host) was very welcoming. Property itself is beautiful and our room was very clean, spacious and had a balcony with amazing views. Right next to Nerano village with small restaurant and grocery shop. Note that it takes a bit of time (~15 mins) to walk to/from the beach (Marina del Cantone) via some steep steps - not a major issue but just something to be aware of given buses are relatively infrequent.

My daughter and I had a fabulous time at Villarena in May, it was the perfect escape after the hustle and bustle of Sorrento, a true Italian gem in the peaceful village of Nerano. The villa is beautifully cared for. Our apartment was spacious, charming and comfortable, with lovely views of the sea. Our host Guglielmo went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We had a fabulous time at the food and wine tasting experience for just the two of us! We toured the gardens, picking fresh beans and salads to help make an authentic Italian starter. Guglielmo paired the wines perfectly with each course and shared his expertise. We learnt to eat in true Italian style! We also highly recommend the stunning walk to the remote beach of Baia di Leranto and the local cocktail bar! Thank you Guglielmo for looking after us so well. We hope to be back with all the family!
