Ristorante Glicine is the Michelin-starred restaurant at the Hotel Santa Caterina, welcoming guests on its panoramic veranda overlooking the sea, shaded by centuries-old wisteria.

The spectacular view here almost steals the show from the culinary creations of Salerno chef Giuseppe "Peppe" Stanzione. Chef Stanzione has a long track record of successful restaurants, as well as international culinary experience in California, Australia, China, and Thailand. Chef Stanzione's passion for eastern cuisine has resulted in delicious innovations here at Glicine. Guests enjoy one-of-a-kind dishes that blend traditional flavors of the Campania region with more exotic Asian influences. The restaurant also offers a wide range of dishes for suitable for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets.

We had a wonderful dinner on our wedding anniversary, we had the seven course tasting menu which we both thoroughly enjoyed. In particular the octopus and langoustine were fantastic with delicious sauces. The sommelier, Luca, was great and helped us choose some lovely wine to match the food. Amazing food and service! Thank you!

A dinner or an experience? I wouldn't know how to define it, but my time at the Glicine restaurant was fantastic! The food was exceptional, we had a five-course tasting menu, an excellent dinner, but being a Michelin-starred restaurant, one could not expect anything different. A more than positive note on the kindness, care, and courtesy that all the staff put into their duties. The food is certainly fundamental, but I must say that the dinner remains memorable above all for the very high quality of the service. In short, nothing was left to chance, from the bread to the wine to the desserts. We were assisted throughout the dinner by different people, each of whom showed themselves to be part of an irreplaceable ensemble that created a perfect picture to celebrate my parents' 25th wedding anniversary,

A truly unforgettable experience at Glicine. We were there to celebrate a birthday, and everything—from the warm welcome to the impeccable service and every single dish—left us speechless. The chef beautifully reinterprets authentic Mediterranean flavours, while the waiters and maître d’ made the entire experience engaging and special. They even surprised us with a birthday candle, a thoughtful gesture we truly appreciated. The sommelier was equally outstanding and delighted us with a wonderful tasting of Italian olive oils. An exceptional restaurant in the magnificent Hotel Santa Caterina, set in one of Italy’s most beautiful towns. Heartfelt thanks to the entire team—we highly recommend this experience!
