A starred restaurant is not judged only by what arrives on the plate. The experience begins much earlier, from the way in which a guest is listened to and welcomed. And it is precisely here that, unfortunately, Rossellinis failed miserably. For about two months, through numerous emails, I had expressed a single request to Daniela: to be able to have a table with a view. It was repeatedly explained to me that it was not possible to reserve a specific table and, above all, that the tables were substantially equivalent. We arrive at the restaurant and are instead assigned a table lacking the view that we had requested for weeks. Noticing a panoramic table free, we kindly ask to be able to sit there. The answer? No, because that table was reserved for two guests who were about to arrive. At that point the question is inevitable: can tables be reserved or not? Because what for two months had been presented to us as impossible, suddenly turned out to be perfectly possible for other guests. The feeling was not that of a simple oversight, which we would have easily understood, but something much worse: having been made fools of. So much so that, deeply embittered, we were seriously thinking about leaving. Only thanks to the intervention of a waiter named Antonio were we finally assigned that very table. A gesture that we appreciated, but which does not erase what happened; if anything, it shows how the whole situation could have been handled differently from the beginning. In a restaurant of this level, I expect excellence not only in the cuisine, but also in fairness, consistency, and consideration for the guest. A request may not be fulfilled. That is absolutely understandable. What I find unacceptable is being told for weeks that something cannot be done and discovering, once we arrived, that it simply could not be done for us. A Michelin star creates very high expectations. Unfortunately, this evening, the lapse in style was just as high.

Everything fantastic, food, location, atmosphere

Hands down the best food I've ever had. The staff were meticulous and attentive, and very, very nice, anticipating any need before I realized I had it! I had the Natural, in Color (vegetarian) tasting menu, a friend with a seafood allergy had the same but with some dishes swapped for meat from the Journey menu when they coincided, and the other 6 of us had the Journey tasting menu. As someone who doesn't drink alcohol I was delighted with the mocktails and mineral water menu. The view of Minori, even at night, is gorgeous, just like the interior of the restaurant and hotel. Absolutely amazing place for a special celebration.

We had a reservation for this restaurant, however fell ill and tested positive for Covid while travelling. I called the restaurant to explain, and there was no sympathy for our situation and they still went ahead and charged 150 € per person cancellation. I asked the hostess on the phone if they would have preferred we come to the restaurant and spread it to everyone, and she sarcastically said yes! Pretty reprehensible.
