Torre Normanna

Location was stellar, view was great in the daylight. At night you cannot really see the ocean view. They did turn on the fairy lights on the ceiling of the venue only when we asked, as we had seen it advertised online. Food was mediocre at best. The steak I ordered was half well done half medium. The meat was served with a tablespoon of mashed potatoes and 2 carrots. Initially, service was poor. The first waiter was rude and curt. We explained we would like the steak medium well. He just kept on repeating medium in what seemed like half English, half Italian. When my girlfriend was asking questions about the seafood/fish course, he basically ordered for her. She said in English, "I need to order on my own terms, and I will have the sea bream fish, which he really didn't pick up on. We asked for another waiter who claimed to be a manager, his name was Ivoni. He was very pleasant and accommodating. The sea bream was served with barely a layer of mashed potatoes, a small carrot, and some other breaded vegetable which I didn't even know what it was. Very disappointed about the mashed potatoes for the price we paid. For aesthetics, the venue is stellar as mentioned earlier. However, for food quality, do not expect anything impressive, and service was questionable initially. A shout out to our young, handsome, professional waiter, for served out bread and drinks. We did not catch his name but also gave him a tip! Caoi!

Almost three months have passed since our wedding and even today, when we talk about it with our guests, one of the first things we hear is: “How good was the food?” or “What a place you chose!”. And I believe this is the best way to start telling about our experience at Torre Normanna. We got married on June 20, 2026 and celebrated our wedding here with more than 100 people, coming from different parts of Italy and also from abroad. It is difficult to explain in words how special that day was, but we have one certainty: we could not have chosen a better place. The first, huge thank you goes to Ivano, his brothers, and the entire staff. Organizing a wedding means having a thousand thoughts, requests, details, and inevitably some worries too. With Ivano, however, everything always seemed incredibly simple. He has an almost disarming ability to understand what you want even when you haven't yet managed to explain it completely. A few words were enough, and he had already understood everything. At a certain point, we started joking about the fact that he was a kind of magician with a top hat, because whatever request or small problem we presented to him, he always managed to pull out a solution. And not just any solution: the best one and the most suitable for us. On the day of the wedding, this feeling became even more evident. We didn't have to check anything, chase anyone, or worry that something wasn't going as planned. Everything happened exactly as it was supposed to happen. Every request of ours was fulfilled almost “magically,” and we had the privilege of being able to do only one thing: enjoy our wedding. The food also deserves a huge mention. Before the wedding, we had eaten at the Torre Normanna several times and had always left enthusiastic. Inevitably, however, we wondered if it was possible to maintain that same level while serving more than 100 people at the same time. Well, not only did they succeed: they were impeccable. The quality remained extremely high from the appetizer until the end of the reception. Wonderful dishes, excellent raw materials, and service that lived up to the cuisine. The compliments received from our guests were endless, and even today, many remember what they ate at our wedding. For a bride and groom, it is an enormous satisfaction. And the same attention was reserved for every single guest. We had vegetarian guests and people with intolerances or special dietary needs: despite a reception of over 100 people, special dishes were prepared for them, and no one ever felt like “the exception” to be managed. Everyone was more than satisfied. We also had several children. A dedicated menu was planned for them, and we had also organized entertainment. The result? Happy children and even happier parents! Some even thanked us because they were able to truly enjoy the evening in peace. It was something we cared about particularly, and knowing that the families also had a great experience at our wedding made us very happy. And then there is the location. Torre Normanna doesn't need many adjectives: you have to see it. Standing in front of that view, with a huge part of the Amalfi Coast before your eyes, is something that leaves you speechless. Many of our guests had never been there, and seeing their faces upon arrival was wonderful. The extraordinary thing, however, is that a location like this could easily "live" on its beauty alone. Instead, here the view is almost just the beginning, because at the same level you find the cuisine, service, organization, professionalism, and attention to the guests. There isn't a single thing that, looking back, we would change. And that is probably the greatest compliment we can give. Ivano and the entire team at Torre Normanna didn't just organize a reception for us: they helped us create the wedding we had always imagined and allowed us to experience it without a care. June 20th was magic. One of those days that we wish we could stop, rewind, and live over and over again. Thank you, Ivano, thank you to your brothers, and thank you to every single person on the staff who worked to ensure everything was perfect. A huge part of the wonderful memories we will keep of that day also bears your name. Torre Normanna, not 5 stars for us: 10 out of 10. And if we had to choose again, you a thousand times over. Everything is fabulous, the view, the food, the staff. To understand it, you have to try it.

Third consecutive year that we have come. Breakfast should be served earlier; 7:30 AM is late in my opinion. The food is excellent. Clean pool if there isn't too much chaos... Excellent services, room cleanliness. I want to talk about the entertainment. The absence of a showman like Agazio was felt. Kind, polite guys, but not up to par. Well done Michele, the three Auroras, Daniel, Daniele, Giulia, Federica, Carlotta, Darina. Nice guy, Stefano. As for the rest, I have no comment. I recommend it to everyone. Relaxation and "fun" are guaranteed anyway with a wonderful sea and pool
