Villa Magia, the pinnacle of your dream villa

  1. One of the most spectacular views along the entire Amalfi Coast
  2. The perfect position at the highest point in Positano, accessible by car
  3. The lush Mediterranean garden, where you can settle in to gaze at the sea

At the pinnacle of picturesque Positano, right at the point where the twisting uphill lanes converge with the winding stairs to offer up the most breathtaking vantage point along the entire Amalfi Coast, sits Villa Magia, five full floors of beautiful luxury for your coastal vacation.

A Magic Spell

Against the backdrop of the uniquely gorgeous town of Positano, you will find yourself taken in by the magic of Villa Magia, an 18th century residence part of which was once an ancient watchtower used to guard against pirate invasions and is now a luxury boutique hotel.

The villa has six guest rooms and suites and is surrounded by a sweeping garden of more than 3000 square meters, where flower beds and terraced lawn blend into perfectly scenic corners where guests can relax and enjoy the view over the sea.

On the villa's first floor, guests can take advantage of the two completely equipped kitchens, one indoor and one outdoor, the latter of which also boasts a barbeque and woodburning oven. The living and dining rooms are also on this floor, which are both decorated with elegant furnishings and carefully selected artwork.

On the upper floor, two elegant suites await...both comfortable and luxurious, with private bathrooms and terraces.

Guests who book the master suite at Villa Magia can enjoy the one-of-a-kind view stretching from the Spiaggia di Fornillo to the Spiaggia Grande beaches.

The fourth and fifth floor of Villa Magia are occupied by Villa Luna. This villa inside the villa has an independent entrance, three bedrooms, and a pool: all the privacy of an exclusive home yet all the comfort of Villa Magia's amenities, including the gym, spa, and restaurant.

In the Tower Like Yesteryear

The lower level is the most historic section of the villa, where the remains of a ancient watchtower which guarded against Saracen pirate invasions once stood. Here there are two additional suites, both elegantly furnished in Positano resort style, and sharing a kitchen with an outdoor patio.
From here, it's just a few steps to the pool and sundeck, both of which boasting gorgeous views.

In the gardens which surround Villa Magia, guests are free to pick fresh fruit and vegetables for their al fresco lunches and dinners!

Savor the beauty of the Amalfi Coast from an exclusive boutique hotel, with the welcome of a private villa yet the amenities of a luxury accommodatio. Villa Magia can also be reserved in its entirety during certain times of year, so contact us for information and availability if you would like to use the villa exclusively.

Perfect stay in Positano

The reviews set our expectations high and they were absolutely met and exceeded. We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite with a patio that I think has the best views in Positano. We set up a few things ahead of time through the concierge who was very responsive. Airport pick up, boat day and day trip to Ravello. We were greeted with warm hospitality on arrival. Beautiful, comfortable room. We had an amazing dinner at the restaurant on our first night. My girls ranked the steak as one of the best they’ve had. The service of breakfast on our gorgeous patio was well done, timed perfectly every morning. You don’t think you need the special phone they give you (I called it the bat phone) but it becomes indispensable and you are able to have lots of contact with the hotel to send a taxi, to move a reservation, to send towels, whatever. The hotel was very responsive and just couldn’t do enough for us. Gianni caught us leaving without waters one day and ran to get them so we would have them for the road. Just attentive, warm, boutique service. My daughter left her id at a restaurant, they got it back and mailed it to us. Really excellent stay overall. I would not hesitate to recommend wholeheartedly. Only two things to note which were not the fault of the hotel but just as a heads up- in addition to knowing about stairs everywhere, in the 2 bedroom suite, one of the bathrooms does not have a fixed shower head. Many people don’t care, my girls chose to shower in my bathroom bc of it. Also, we don’t recommend doing a driving trip to the Amalfi towns- there was so much traffic, you spend too much of the time in the car. Do a boat trip though! One of the best days of our whole trip. Spectacular way to see the coast!

We returned home from Italy last Saturday after spending six nights in Positano. We just wanted to extend our sincerest thanks for an incredible stay at Villa Magia—it truly lived up to all our expectations. Boutique hotels have always been our preference because of their personalized service and the intimate feeling of being welcomed into someone’s home. Villa Magia embodied this beautifully, with a team that provided service of the highest standard. The staff were not only professional but also warm, inviting, and incredibly attentive. We had complete confidence that they would go out of their way to accommodate us—and they did so on many occasions. A special thanks to Giovanni, Plo, and Valentina for your assistance. The hotel's location is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views that feel like a dream. The simple elegant, clean decor perfectly complements the striking emerald-blue sea, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. Our room, with its adjacent pool and convenient access to the terrace, spa, and main lobby, was perfect. The enormous balcony—with its sweeping 180-degree view—must be one of the best in Positano! To top it all off, the cuisine was excellent, especially the breakfasts, made with the freshest ingredients. Every detail of our stay made it an experience to remember, and we can't wait to return.

Villa Magia is a special place. From the incredible staff (who respond in minutes to any request), to the views (unbelievable), to the breakfast on our terrace, to the lovely restaurant with incredible food, there is nothing not to love about Villa Magia. And then we left. And forgot a kindle and a beloved necklace. We were on a boat making our way to our next stop, Capri, when the captain told me I had a phone call. It was Villa Magia letting me know the maid had found our items (we didn’t even know we’d left them behind) and that they would arrange to get them to Capri for us. And, when we arrived several hours later in Capri, we were met with a staff member who had our lost items. I was speechless. Villa Magia - thank you for the amozing visit and service that sets a new standard.
