The people were great but the place is very old. We shared our room with insects …the breakfast on the balcony was impossible because it was infested with ants and the shower over flooded - for this price you can do do much better.

Breathtaking View with Wonderful Service

I found Villa Yiara on ChatGPT (by chance) by searching for places to stay in Positano. The pictures on their website looked lovely so we booked it. What a delightful experience! The staff were in contact from the time we made the reservation to keep us updated on the status of our reservation, including best directions (so you are not climbing hundreds of steps). Upon check in, we walked into our room which had a beautiful view from our balcony. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, everything was in its place, including fresh flowers. Each morning we were delivered a delightful breakfast to our balcony, enough food to feed an entire family (we were 2 people). The staff were so attentive, making reservations for us for dinner at an exclusive restaurant, making reservations at one of the beach clubs, so we had a good spot on the beach once we got down there and providing a tote bag with beach towels. Upon check in, they gave us their number on WhatsApp to use for any questions and were always quick to respond to any inquiry (like what stop to get off the bus). The walk to the beach took about 15-20 minutes but we got to browse all the cute shops and restaurants along the way. Villa Yiara really exceeded all our expectations! Highly recommend this place.

We had a beautiful room and lovely service from the staff. I enjoyed fresh flowers in our shower and bathroom daily. Also, loved the daily breakfast service. They gave you a choice of how you wanted your eggs prepared in the morning and time preference. Be prepared in any place you stay at Positano, as there will be lots of stairs.

We have traveled to many places in this world but I must say Villa Yiara was the absolute best. The minute you arrive you realize how special it is. Sparkling clean, great location and a staff second to none. The most pleasant surprise is their spectacular breakfast served in your room each morning by beautiful Maria. We obviously can’t say enough.
