Such an amazing experience! Everyone must do some sort of boat trip in Positano to see the entire view from the water. The boat was beautiful and our boat operator (Christian) was very warm and friendly and took a bunch of photos for us as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is thinking of doing a boat experience of the Amalfi Coast. Plus they give you a bottle of nice prosecco! Thank you Positano Boats for an unforgettable experience and for some of the best photos of our two week Eurotrip!

Amazing day on the Italyure Zeus with Franco

We booked a private tour for 4 adults for 8 hours on the Zeus with Captain Franco. This was our 2nd time using Positano Boats to tour Capri and the Amalfi coast. Franco is the most amazing captain! He knows the coastline so well and really made our day so much fun! After a week of rain in Minori, we were grateful for this experience. This new boat is just amazing, and even with some rough seas, Franco managed the waters perfectly. He took us to a wonderful family restaurant for lunch in Navona and secured us the perfect table. This is a must do excursion when visiting the Amalfi coast. And they were very accommodating and picked us up in Minori and were able to reschedule our tour due to weather.

Don't go there!

This trip was billed as “Travel by boat to the spectacular Amalfi Coast in comfort”. If we’d known what it was going to be like we never would have booked it! The trip was most uncomfortable. The sea was a little choppy but not what I would call rough. The boat was travelling at such a speed that it was skimming across the waves.Unfortunately I had some mild back ache after spending so much time siitting on trains alll the way from Bedford to Naples. Every time the boat hit the surface of the sea it landed with a crash which jarred my spine sending pain up my back. We were sitting at the back of the boat on the left side and were getting sprayed with sea water to the point where itt almost felt that we were having buckets full throw over us. No comfort there! By the time we stopped at Positano I had decided I couldn’t get back on that boat. I confirmed with the young crew mwmbwer that I could catch a bus back to Sorrento. The crew didn’t seem to care much that I was left in a lot of pain in a strange place and gave no advice on where to catch the bus although they did phone their office to see if they could provide a car to get me back to the hotel. After enquiring in Positano I was told to climb a long flight of steps to the road then ask again. Bearing in mind I am 73 years old and don’t have the strength or stamina I had a few years ago. I also have heart problems I found the climb gruelling, having to stop frequently to get my breath back. I finally reached the top of the steps after 30 minutes of so where I was advised to follow the road further uphill to the bus stop. I was walking against the flow on a one way road so any buses that passed were going the wrong way. After a further half hour of walking uphill with frequent stops I reached a wider road with two way traffic. I was standing trying to get my breath back and wondering which way to go when the phone rang, it was the office telling me they couldn’t get a car! I had to cut the conversation short as I spied a bus coming towards me on the other side of the road. I spotted a bus stop and got there just as the bus arrived. I was going to Sorrento and only cost 3 Euros, bargain! I had a very pleasant ride back through great scenery and when I got back I dosed myself with painkillers to try and have a sleep tp recover from my ordeal! It is now. two weeks since the trip and I still have some pain in my back. I place the blame firmly on the way the boat was driven!
