Is there a hotel pickup service?
No, hotel pickup service is not included. You'll need to reach the meeting point in Positano or Sorrento on your own. Transportation to the embarkation point is not included in the tour price. We suggest considering travel time and arriving 10 minutes early.
Are there multiple swimming stops during the tour?
Yes, the tour includes several stops both during the outbound and return journeys. The stops allow you to swim, snorkel, and enjoy the crystal-clear sea along the coast. Snorkeling equipment and beach towels are provided on board free of charge.
Do I need to pay a landing tax in Capri?
Yes, there's a landing tax that's not included in the tour price. This tax applies when you disembark on the island for the 3 hours of free time. The exact amount should be verified at the time of visit, as it may vary depending on the season.
What's the cancellation policy for the boat tour?
You can cancel for free up to 24 hours before departure and receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are not refundable. If weather conditions prevent the tour from running, the operator will contact you to offer an alternative date or full refund.
What happens if there are rough seas on the tour day?
In case of rough seas or adverse weather conditions, the operator may decide to cancel or postpone the tour for safety reasons. You'll be contacted in advance and offered the option to move your booking to another available date or receive a full refund. Passenger safety is always the priority.
Is there a bathroom on board?
Yes, the boat is equipped with a bathroom. Onboard, you'll also find a changing cabin and shaded areas for sun protection. These amenities make the 8-hour tour more comfortable, especially considering the swimming stops and sailing time.
Is it possible to visit the Blue Grotto during the tour?
The Blue Grotto is optional and not included in the tour price. Access isn't guaranteed because the grotto closes during rough seas or strong winds, conditions that can change throughout the day. During high season, waiting times to enter can exceed 2 hours due to the high number of visitors. If you want to visit, you'll need to pay the ticket at the entrance.
Where is the meeting point for the tour?
In Positano, the tour departs from the main pier on via Regina Giovanna, meeting at the L'Alternativa cocktail bar. In Sorrento, departure is from Marina Grande port, meeting near the "Da Emilia" trattoria. At both locations, a staff member will be waiting for you at the meeting point. Arrive 10 minutes before departure.
