Children are welcome from 10 years of age. The experience is not suitable for younger guests, who can accompany their parents, but will not participate in the cooking class.
We recommend comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.

Unfortunately, for safety reasons, we cannot offer options for celiac or lactose-intolerant guests.
The tour is not wheelchair accessible and is not recommended for people with walking difficulties, due to the presence of stairs, uneven surfaces, and steep climbs.
In the event of bad weather, the boat transfer may be suspended. Our venue is accessible on foot by walking down a long staircase from the center of Praiano.

Best beach club & lunch on Amalfi coast!

If you’re looking for the best beach club and lunch with a view experience, you need to enjoy the day at Gavitella in Praiano. The lovely place is located in a secluded bay so you have the possibility to not only enjoy the beach in their beachclub without too many tourists but also their amazing food (we came for a looong lunch). For us their special seafood starter was just sooo good (Antipasto Gavitella) and the traditional “Tubetti” pasta with praiano local squid (see picture below) the best pasta we had on the coast! The team is also super helpful & they also have a free boat shuttle to their beach club from Positano (but you can also come by food). They also offer a cooking class which I want to do next time!

The most fun we had during our week long trip to Amalfi Coast. Our boat tour day was cancelled because of rough seas so we looked for a last minute cooking class and found La Gavitella. They waited for us to arrive before starting the class. There were 7 of us and an additional 8 other people in the class. Tomaso and the staff at La Gavitella made our experience beyond fun and they were so kind. When you arrive you start with Prosecco and a light meal. Then you move over to the class and Tomaso teaches you in detail how to prepare different Italian dishes. On this day we made the most delicious ravioli, tagliatelle and tiramisu. I would highly recommend this cooking class.

This was the best beach club/restaurant I have ever been too!!! The staff were absolutely AMAZING and accommodated so well for us. They created such a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The beach beds were incredibly comfortable with views I have never seen before! The drinks especially the cocktails were delicious.

The lido La Gavitella ed Eolo in Praiano is a true jewel of the Amalfi Coast. Its location offers breathtaking views of Positano and Capri, making it an ideal place to take pictures and enjoy the view. The crystal clear waters are perfect for swimming, and the peculiarity of being the only beach where the sun never sets makes it unique for afternoon relaxation.
