Departure from Sorrento in early morning and transfer by bus to Pompeii. Enjoy a live commentary on board during the 45 minutes drive. Once arrived in Pompeii, get ready for two hours guided visit where the guide will explore the main features of the ancient city like the Roman Forum, the temple of Jupiter and Apollo, the famous Basilica and thermal baths. Stroll around the streets and find out fabulously preserved frescoes which adorned the walls and floors of the villas. Free time before you return to Sorrento about 1:00 pm.

Due to uneven surface, this tour is not suitable for people with mobility problems
The transfer to and from Sorrento takes place on board an air-conditioned coach with 40-50 seats, but the guided tour of the Pompeii ruins will take place in groups of maximum 30 people.

We had specifically wanted to visit Herculaneum and Pompeii on our trip to Italy. We are very glad we did so, as both of us are interested in history. I have watched quite a few programmes on both sites, so it was great to see Herculaneum for myself. I wish I could have spent longer here as it’s fascinating! Fabiana was an excellent guide who really knows her stuff, and gave us a very good overview of the history and culture behind Herculaneum

the tour was AMAZING!!! our driver, PEPPE was phenomenal as a driver and as a guide!!! we had free time at each location, but his narrative was extremely thorough!!! I met 4 of the nicest ride partners!!! it was just a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE
