Where does the tour depart from and what departure points are available?
The tour departs from either Positano or Amalfi, chosen at the time of booking. The exact meeting point is provided in the booking voucher. Hotel pickup is not included; ground transportation to the departure port is the responsibility of the guest.
What time do the tours depart?
Two departure times are available: morning at 10:00 AM and afternoon at 2:00 PM.
Can you go ashore at Positano or Amalfi during the tour?
Yes, the tour includes the option to stop ashore at Positano and/or Amalfi for lunch, shopping, or a stroll, then return to the boat. This does not extend the total tour duration, which remains 4 hours. It's a good idea to let the skipper know this preference before departure to plan the timing accordingly.
What are the cancellation terms?
Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the tour's start time. After that cutoff, no refund is issued. Payment is not charged at the time of booking but upon arrival. The voucher is accepted both digitally and as a printed copy.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?
If sea conditions make departure impossible, the booking is canceled with no penalty or rescheduled if possible, depending on availability.
Can you bring a dog on board?
Yes, dogs are welcome on board. It's a good idea to mention it at booking or contact Oversea Positano before the tour date so the crew can make the necessary arrangements.
Does the tour include a visit to the Emerald Grotto?
The route includes a stop in front of the Emerald Grotto, but the entrance fee is not included and is paid on site. Access depends on sea conditions, and during high season, waiting times can be very long. The visit is not directly from the boat. Anyone wanting to include this stop should let the skipper know before departure to plan the timing accordingly.
Is there a bathroom on board?
Yes, the Solare 40 has a WC and shower on board, along with 2 cabins, a fridge bar, Bluetooth Hi-Fi stereo, a cushioned sun deck, and a shaded area. The on-board facilities make it a comfortable choice for the full 4-hour trip, with no need to go ashore for this purpose.
