Hotel Europa

Terrible!! The worst hotel of my stay. The lady who received us was very unpleasant and yelled at us. When I booked, there was a picture of a hearty sweet and savoury breakfast. We got 1 coffee and 1 croissant in 1 coffee shop 300 meters away. Very noisy hotel on the Amalfi road and no double glazing. To flee!!!

Hotel located 4 steps from the sea , you feel at home, run by two brothers Jose and Raimondo, two real guys, transmit the Their emotions to the guests as if they had known them for years. They are always available to solve any need. Locals just arrived at the hotel give you all the tips you need to spend a good holiday. Jose attentive to cleanliness and personally takes care of its supervision. In short, great value for money.

Affordable and located in a nice small local town that is just a boat away from all of the major stops along the Amalfi coast. However, that is where the positives end. The receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful when we arrived, and took a phone call in the middle of our check-in to give out about us in Italian. Not English-speaking friendly. Pictures are deceiving as there is nowhere to sit, they do not serve food and there is nowhere to eat food if you decide to get some yourself. The rooms did not have a table, and because the hotel is right beside the road it was extremely loud at night. I would recommend this 'hotel' if you were looking for a beautiful and convenient location on a budget, but everything else leaves a lot to be desired.

At first glance, the Europa hotel looks like it has the right credentials to enjoy the gem that is Minori, an excellent location, warm watermelon-coloured plaster not soaked in the crystal-clear sea of the Coast and a friendly wolf dog at the entrance. Yet the small size of the rooms, a large Milanese two-room apartment so to speak, and the last coat of white given at the time of the red brigades make us understand that the costs for the renovation have not been evaded this year either. The shower toilet experience always fascinates me: being able to carry out your functions and at the same time wash your slices on the fungal mat is a five-star premiere. The windowless bathroom is narrow and hot, tiled in countless different patterns that could cause multiple labyrinths for the most fragile guests. Despite the abuse of the majolica with a clear intent to confuse, the most attentive eye will be able to see a nice selection of local and non-local hairs among a flower, a bird on the shower curtain and a comfortable beard kit. Let's now move on to the analysis of the room: comfortable double bed with divided mattress on which guests don't even deserve a fitted sheet. The choice of the number of pillows we were equipped with is interesting: 3. 3 like lu sole, lu mare and lu ientu but, given that there are two of us, or 4 or nothing (which in any case is very close to the cuisine offered). The furniture is Franciscan, just enough to survive but never to really live. Here, in summer, the minibar helps. Finally, the view is valuable: wall of capers and honking road. In conclusion, I would not recommend this hotel to someone I love but, if like us, punishment is part of our DNA, hurry up, Hotel Europa awaits you!
