I state that we come to the marine basin by boat for 25 years and we had not gone to lunch at the hippocampus for many years but I was very disappointed

AMERICANS BEWARE CREDIT CARD SCAMMERS.....THEY RAN OUR GROUP BILL OF 270 EUROS 7 TIMES ON DIFFERENT CARDS CLAIMING THEY WOULD NOT GO THRU AND WOULD NOT LET US LEAVE RESTAURANT TIL WE SENT SOMEONE BACK TO ROOM TO PAY WITH APPLE PAY....ALL 7 SWIPES WENT THRU AND WE HAVE BEEN FIGHTING FOR MONTHS TO GET MONEY BACK BUT VENDOR WILL NOT ISSUE REFUND...AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALLLLLLLL COSTS.........

Terrible Experience. I went to this restaurant today and was shocked by the service. Just one minute after sitting down and placing my order, I politely asked to change it — literally right after ordering — and the waiter called me an imbecile. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. Later, when I went to the counter to pay, I asked the owner for a receipt, and he replied: “Only if you really want it, I’ll give it to you.” Very unprofessional. To make matters worse, the waiter was smoking inside the restaurant, right next to the customers, as if that were normal. He was also horribly dressed and extremely rude. The food portions were small, the prices were outrageously high, and the whole experience was just unpleasant from start to finish. A truly awful restaurant — I would never recommend it to anyone.

A single episode to describe the policy of this activity: In pouring the wine into the glasses for a final toast we first saw black powder and on the end a nice cigarette butt... Can you retrieve a bottle of wine from some table pour more wine if anything recovered from other tables and serve it? That sucks!!! There are no words to describe what we felt! I very much hope that the competent authorities will one day punish this lack of hygiene, seriousness and professionalism
