Voted one of the most romantic hotels in Europe by TripAdvisor, the La Conca Azzurra is the smallest 4 star hotel on the whole of the Amalfi Coast. Hotel La Conca Azzurra has a total of 18 bedrooms and suites, a highly acclaimed restaurant, private access to the sea, hanging gardens, and any number of panoramic, sun-drenched terraces overlooking the bay of Conca dei Marini.

One of few hotels on the Amalfi Coast to enjoy the sun from dawn until dusk, La Conca Azzurra has its own lido, furnished with comfortable loungers, from where guests can dive into the crystal clear sea and experience the most spectacular of sunsets.

The lido is not the only place in which guests can relax in the Mediterranean sun: the hotel's Giardino 4 Stagioni, equipped with hydromassage pool, sun loungers and solar showers, functions as gorgeous, open air wellness area. Each of La Conca Azzurra's bedrooms has its own terrace or veranda overlooking the sea and the gardens. Veritable in-room spas, bathrooms in the hotel's Superior Relax bedrooms and Junior Suites are equipped with state-of-the-art hydrotherapy baths or showers.

The Calajanara Restaurant is famous for its delicious local cuisine, prepared using fresh pasta, seasonal vegetables, cheeses from the Lattari Mountains and, of course, the Amalfi Coast's abundant fish and seafood. Dishes are dressed with the extra virgin olive oil, produced with the olives grown in the groves surrounding the hotel.

In the evening, guests gather in the glass-roofed Winter Garden, enjoying an aperitif or leisurely after dinner-drink beneath the star specked sky. Smokers have the chance to indulge in a puff of the finest tobacco in the Cigar Bar. The perfect place in which to pick up that special souvenir or gift item, La Conca Azzurra's Art Shop Caffè stocks an exquisite selection of coral jewelry and artistic ceramics.

This hotel is beautiful and peaceful. Also away from towns. So if you're looking for a separation of the busy port towns, this is the place for you. The room was comfortable, the front desk staff was helpful and the restaurant staff helpful as well. Food was good. The views are gorgeous.

HOTEL LA CONCA AZZURRA

HOTEL: LOCATION: IN BETWEEN AMALFI AND POSITANO (GOOD VIEWS) RATING: I BELIEVE IT'S NOT A 4-STAR HOTEL NEEDS UPDATING: ROOMS DATED, SUN LOUNGES ARE BROKEN, FOOD: AVERAGE, NOT WORTH THE PRICE TRANSPORTATION: BUSES: UNRELIABLE, OVERCROWDED, TAXIS: EXPENSIVE (€50 TO AMALFI,€100 TO POSITANO), DRIVING: MIGHT BE A GOOD OPTION IF YOU'RE COMFORTABLE WITH IT. AMALFI: VERY BUSY AND CROWDED, ESPECIALLY AT LUNCHTIME. DIFFICULTY FINDING SEATING AT RESTAURANTS. OVERALL: THE HOTELS LOCATION HAS SOME ADVANTAGES (VIEWS) BUT THE AMENENITIES AND VALUE SEEM LACKING. TRANSPORTATION:CHALLENGES MAKE GETTING AROUND DIFFICULT AND EXPENSIVE. AMALFI: ITSELF MIGHT BE OVERWHELMING DUE TO CROWDS.

Gorgeous hotel with amazing views - remote location

Gorgeous property with amazing vibes/view. Staff was friendly & helpful Location is pretty remote (in between Praiano and Amalfi, closer to Amalfi) -- but the hotel restaurant was a good option to have with nice food and a killer view. Since we're a younger couple who likes to go out we'd probably stay in Praiano or Positano next time. Bus stop right outside of the hotel (need cash for bus tickets). Easy to use and get around during the day! I'd recommend this place for couples if you're looking for a chill vibe, but if you plan on going out at all at night (past 10pm) you will likely have to pay a ridiculous amount for a taxi so might be better to stay in a more central area. Also, keep in mind roads are really windy here so if you get car sick easily take some medicine!
