The secrets of Amalfi olive oil: guided tasting with breathtaking views

We had an amazing cooking class with Chef Antonio! He taught us how to make bread, pesto, gnocchi, linguini and tiramisu with fresh, local ingredients. We also got to partake in an olive oil tasting with the bread we made in class, and it was so delicious we bought a bottle of olive oil to bring home with us. The wine we drank throughout the class was fantastic as well. Chef Antonio is so kind and clearly has a passion for cooking food with fresh, organic ingredients right from his family farm. He made the class fun and informative, and the food was absolutely delicious! Not to mention-the view from his restaurant is incredible. Thank you, Chef Antonio!!

We had read the great reviews but were still surprised and delighted by KMO. It's owned by a young couple, and for us Chef Antonio's wife made our night. Her welcoming and fun personality made us feel like we had met a new friend. We took her recommendations and had the focaccia with walnuts, speck and gorgonzola to start, which was truly exceptional. The specials were also amazing as was my lemon spaghetti with mussels, not too overpowering on the lemon like some places. We live outside NYC and know great italian. If you are in Praiano, be sure to put KMO on your list! The couple that own it have turned what was once a car park into a beautiful modern space, with stunning views, excellent food and a vibrant atmospere!

Beautiful location and a cozy, intimate atmoshpere. I love that the kitchen is open to the dining area, it really adds to the experience. Antonio is a great cook and his dishes are excellent. We did the cooking class and we really enjoyed that the recipes were not overly complicated, yet still produced fantastic results. He also has many good little tips to share that make a difference in the end product. 10/10, would do again.

KM0 was a 10/10 experience both nights we went for dinner. My boyfriend and I stayed in Praiano for a week, after spending time in Tuscany and Rome, this was by far the best meals we had. Chef Antonio was an absolute pleasure to meat and made sure to come introduce himself and even take our orders and serve us on one of the nights we dined there. The beef ragu was exceptional and one of the most memorable dishes we had. The food was fresh, hot, and served timely. The environment was beautiful with a view of the water and sunset from our table. It is a small restaurant and has a cozy and welcoming vibe like home. You can relax here while being served top of the line dishes, better than a Michelin star restaurant we dined at in ravello. After dining at KM0 once, we had to go back a second time before leaving Praiano to try more of their dishes. The seafood, especially mussels were also some of the best we’ve ever had (and we live on the coast in New England). I cannot rave enough about this restaurant and would continue to go back every time we visit the Amalfi coast! Thank you Chef Antonio for this experience!!
