What time does the tour depart and where is the meeting point?
The meeting time is 9:35 AM at the Alilauro Gruson meeting point at Sorrento port, Via Luigi De Maio 45. Departure is at 9:55 AM. Arriving at least 10 minutes before the meeting time is recommended to complete boarding formalities without rushing.
Is there a swimming stop during the tour?
Yes, the tour includes a swimming stop in Capri's waters. The swim is optional; those who prefer not to can stay on board. Bringing a swimsuit and a towel is recommended.
Is the Blue Grotto visit included in the tour?
The tour includes only an exterior view of the Blue Grotto; the interior visit is not part of the program. The entrance ticket is not included, and there is no scheduled stop to access it during the boat tour due to time constraints. Guests who want to visit the grotto from the inside can do so independently during free time ashore in Capri, with directions from the skipper.
Is there free time in Capri during the tour?
Yes, after the boat tour, there are several hours of free time ashore at Marina Grande to explore the island independently, shop, have lunch, or take the funicular up to Capri center. Lunch is not included; you can choose from the island's restaurants. Returning to the boat by the time indicated by the skipper is required before departure back to Sorrento.
Is there a bathroom on board?
Yes, the boat has a bathroom on board. Outdoor seating, shaded areas, and an on-board bar service (available for purchase) are also available.
What are the cancellation terms?
Free cancellation is available up to 2 days before the tour date. After that cutoff, the terms specified at booking apply.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?
If adverse weather conditions make navigation impossible, the tour is either rescheduled to an alternative date or refunded.
Is the boat switch in Capri included in the tour?
Yes, the boat switch is a core part of the tour and included in the price. On arrival at Capri, you transfer to a different boat for the island tour, no extra cost involved.
